Half Price Books

I came in around midday on a Friday to sell about 20 books. The selling process was incredibly fast, maybe 20 minutes? The staff was working swiftly and efficiently. Everyone was polite. I was selling a few new releases and some popular titles. I got a great price and was able to buy 3 used books — thank you! I’ll be back.

Boy I love book stores! On this occasion, I stopped in with my daughter who was looking for a book from a series she likes that we couldn't find at the library. We walked in, found a copy almost immediately, and it was even signed! In and out in just a few minutes, best $10 I've spent recently.

My kids love to read and do puzzles. We go here a lot (after the library when possible) and we spend more than I want to admit. Friendly and convenient. Great value.

No joke this is legitimately the best used bookseller I've been to in the Twin Cities. The collection is amazing and the prices are great. It might even be better for reasonably priced used/vintage vinyl records - I've gotten records for more than half of the average Discogs value and they always have a great selection of music, especially 80s rock and pop, which I find antique stores rarely have and many record stores over price.

Amazing two level thrift book store with so many options- clearance and specials make it that much cheaper.
Once you join text group- discounts come every few weeks.
Customer service is excellent with attendants willing to help find anything in the store.

One of the best in town. Definitely my favorite of the Half Price Books stores in the Twin Cities. A great selection of both new and used books, with tons of fiction, nonfiction, and a great collection of comic books and other media. I especially like the graphic novels section.
They also have some awesome vintage and collectors books on display. Last time I was there, they had a $750 1st edition hard cover of Harry Potter. They have cool stuff like that all the time.

Stopped in on a recommendation- could not believe the selection!!! Two floors, discounted books in the basement. Had so many of the titles we’ve read in our book club over the last 2 years!! Got two cookbooks and a clearance novel :) will definitely be back. Had some brand new titles too- with stickers that encouraged re/sale back to them! Love circular use!

I always enjoy going to Half Price Books - any of them. The customer service here has been really good. The layout of this location can be a little confusing, so be sure to go downstairs to check out the clearance section and some of the other sections in the basement. Free off-street parking as well as some parking on the street (I don't recall if it's free or not).

This place is huge with a full basement of books. Great old bookstore vibe but with half price price tag. Lots of puzzles and games too.

I always have a good time coming into this store. Every once in a while it's a miss for getting something I like. That being said, there are times when I never bring enough money for the things I find. It's a great location with a decent discount section in the basement if your looking for a few good deals. Always worth a visit if your in the neighborhood.

I do hope this location continues on. The neighborhood is changing really quickly. I realize the building is getting on in age, and if they move to a new modern location I hope the 2 floors stays on. The basement feels like a true adventure! The employees seem happy and the rotation of books is constant. Keep up the good work 👏

I love all the Half Price Books in the metro, but this one is probably my favorite! They always have such a cool selection of old & odd books!

Looking for a good book to #LearnSpanish? This morning I stopped by Half Price Books in St. Paul, MN and I found several good options at good prices! These are my personal suggestions.

We love all of the Half Proce Books locations in the metro area, but this is probably our favorite. This was the first one I went to farther back than I want to think about. The sections are laid out very clearly, and don't forget about the basement. It can be a bit claustrophobic, especially when there are a lot of people selling books and sometimes other customers aren't always the most considerate (had to walk around someone that was laying on the floor the last time we visited), but I won't hold that against the store. Staff is helpful, and we always manage to come away with something interesting.

Best half price around. Two stories with the clearance section in the basement. Big selection of games and puzzles too.

The best place to sell your used books! The staff was very polite, they had me taken care of before i was done shopping $225 for some college text books I found next to the dumpster!
