I really wish I could give 6 stars for this review. I have had the honor and privilege of being represented by James “Bayard” Smith, JR, ESQ, who is the “Smith” of Smith & Williams’s firm. Mr. Smith always had my best interests in mind and worked tirelessly on my case. All employees in the firm are smart, friendly, and fantastic. Additionally, there is always an attorney on call to answer any questions you may have.

Was upfront about what to expect and was proven to be correct. A pleasure to work with , I strongly recommend.

This is the Best Legal Team I have ever encountered. They work seemlessly together and work hard at making you feel comfortable but more importantly informed of everything going on with your case. I contacted Bayard Smith initially when my accident happened and found Bayard to be compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Bayard worked with me on my case for several months while instructing me to do nothing else but get myself better and back to pre-accident health. During the course of my case it became necessary for Dan Williams to handle my case for a period of time. Harrell, Smith & Williams deserves way more then 5 stars! Wish I could give them more! I was recommended to HSW by a coworker in 2014 after being in a major car accident. I had never had a case before so I was super nervous about the whole process. I initially met with Kenneth who absolutely made me feel so much better about my case. He walked me through the entire process, kept me informed and answered any and all questions that I had. Ken was super amazing at explaining everything to me and making sure that I completely understood how the process would work. He was also very honest and extremely realistic in regards to my case. My case was subsequently transferred over to Dan and I cannot say enough about Dan! Dan is awesome! He really took the time to talk to me and make sure I was comfortable with the movement of my case, as when he took over the case, things were starting to move rather quickly. Dan made sure that I saw the best of the best Doctors and that I was in good hands when it came to surgeries or follow up appointments. He was completely understanding of some of my concerns regarding my course of treatment. He made sure I was informed at all times about my case. He was honest with me and made sure my expectations were always realistic. He was very supportive of my decisions regarding my case. Kenneth Harrell, Bayard Smith and Dan Williams are excellent attorneys and they own a great firm! They provide quality services to all of their clients! But I am sure they would agree when I say they couldn’t be as AMAZING as they are without the support of the employees they have working for them!

Something that stood out to me was that I could call the firm and I would immediately speak to a LIVE person! Many Law Firms have automated services answering their calls and you have to press 30 numbers to get nowhere but frustrated. Then trying to enter a last name or a first name and still getting nowhere but frustrated, getting transfered 15 times and ultimately hanging up in frustration and having to try again later! Anytime I called HSW I was always greeted with a friendly voice by Sue their legal secretary. She was always very kind and helpful everytime I called. If Dan was not available she would make sure to take a message or offer that I speak to Dan’s Assistant, Nydia. Nydia was so helpful in providing me any information I needed. She often reminded me of appointments and/or items that I needed to provide! Leigh was also very helpful to me when my case needed to go through PIP arb! She was able to work with my insurance company to get some medical bills paid for. To say that was a relief is an understatement!

I worked for a company for 13 years as an Executive Manager. One of my duties was to ensure Company MORALE. I happen to KNOW that MORALE at HSW is very high. I happen to know that Bayard, Dan and Kenneth are VERY GOOD to their Employees. I happen to know that their Employees are treated very well by them. I happen to know that their Employees LOVE working for them. I happen to know they create a great atmosphere for their Employees. I happen to know that they treat their Employees like family.
