Kings Food Markets

Did an early Sunday run to avoid the crowd and had the most pleasant experience with Lorraine at checkout!. Very pleasant even offered to help on some discounts with the phone number, but I declined that just my thing, but she was very pleasant and also lined up all the items so that I could bag them. Lorraine also offered to bag however, I just figured it was easier. I do it. Just an amazing experience, Lorraine was super pleasant and just thought I’d share that. If you ever get a chance, use the checkout line with Lorraine!

In and out. Very fast service and a great selection of products. Will definitely be coming back to shop here!

Easy to find, clean, friendly, helpful staff. Very well stocked items. They even have shaller and weber wursts german butcher store goods.

Not a fan of going to the grocery store but I like this Kings and they always seem to have good products. I otherwise go to Whole Foods but this is closer and I like it better.

My husband and I shopped there for the very first time, and everything from the food and produce to the people were wonderful. We will be going there again soon and the prices were great as well!

Named appropriately; My family has been coming to this location since I was a little girl(I remember when they had free samples on the weekend 🤭) and have never had an issue. Staff is super friendly, quality of food is bar none, and the store is always clean and organized. Even amidst a pandemic, I knew I could go to kings and find everything I needed without issues. I'm a grocery shopping geek, and look forward to my weekly shopping trips 🤓. I enjoy coming here, and will continue!

Everyone working here is so delightful. What I love is that the store is so clean. They still have wipes at the door, encourage mask wearing, and they have a fantastic fresh fish department (and terrific guy works behind counter) and the meat department is always stocked and desirable. I love shopping here. I have crossed other markets off my list and even though the prices are even higher than Whole Foods (at times) the quality is far superior than the general markets. I try to do less shopping runs these days (Covid fear) but I wear my mask and just hope that people shopping would do so, also. It is quieter here, but so appealing. All the produce is nice and if you do not see something, there is always a person at the produce (restocking and refreshing) and he goes out of his way to check in the back for things or cut veggies for me. (I always have him cut the spaghetti squash..LOL). This is why I love Kings. I usually go to the one in Garwood, but the Short Hills store is lovely, too. Oh, and their bakery department is good, too,

Well stocked. Great service. Good selection. Interesting variety of fruit, vegetables and fish.

I come here for things where quality makes a difference…. Meat, cheese, produce, those brioche hamburger rolls, and Blue Bunny ice cream snacks (because portion control). Recently I was looking for the Kings blood orange Italian sodas in the big bottles but could only find another brand. I mentioned I couldn’t find them… and then less than an hour later I got a call from Sandy that they no longer carried them. Awesome above and beyond service! Thank you!

Litcherally my favorite food store ever! I wish I had one where I lived. The turkey meatballs are 🔥 as well all the different food items and juices. I look forward to going there everytime I'm home!

About two weeks ago I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. I had just went to the Shop Rite in Garwood and left. It was nuts! So yesterday I just went to Kings again and it was Great. It will be my Supermarket. It is better than Whole Foods and Shop Rite!

Everyone respects the social distance. The aisles are clearly marked as one ways: if you're going the right way or not. Paper bags instead of plastic! Small, doable store! Pricey, but better than the larger stores, for sure.

Great place pricey but, you pay for convenience....I love the specialty items..Always fresh produce and products.. Friendly folks there enjoy shopping there for years. Bring own reusable bag and get a discount...That's what I'm talkin about..Good for you Kings.

It's not the least expensive. It's not known for wide variety. But, but Kings' produce is the best. Meat selection is wide and top quality. And desserts, really wide selection of delicious desserts. Yum!

Was looking for a great homestyle apple pie at 7pm when local farmers markets are not open....go figure 😕🙁

Clean, well stocked, it prices are not competitive, you have Shoprite & there was also a Pathmark all with in a mile. Parking lot us not ample, its shared with a multitude of other smaller stores.

This store has a a very good selection of items, is always clean and has really nice staff that aims to please. Parking is generaaly good and the lines are rarely long. I just enjoy shopping here.
