The Sawmill

This is a great restaurant, located in a scenic spot offering beautiful views of the south end of Canandaigua Lake. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, we were warmly greeted and our wait time to be seated on the patio was minimal. Our server was friendly and efficient, which is not always the case in many places these days. We started with an appetizer that was offered as one of the day's specials: Coconut Shrimp. It was perfectly prepared and very delicious. We opted for something light for dinner: Marinated Chicken Sandwiches. Our sandwiches were also delicious, served on a tasty Brioche roll with Provolone and a Basil Pesto Mayo...so good. This place has all the bases covered, perfect for any age. Will definitely stop by again. Highly recommend.

Do yourself a favor and go, grab your family or friends, this spot is charming, unassuming gorgeous spot on the water with sloppy comfort food, generous portions and family friendly prices. A hidden jam, can’t wait to return for a great plate of NY garbage (just ask!)

We are glad we experienced this place for ourselves! The view on the deck was outstanding, the service was spectacular and the food was fantastic! It was Friday, so several in our party ordered the fish fry. The beer batter was not overpowering and the portions were plentiful! We will be back!

First time visitor and I think I found my new favorite summer restaurant! Food was great, view from the deck was gorgeous and our waitress Tammy was super awesome, fast, fun and sweet! We'll be back!!

We had dinner there the last night of 2019. It was our first time there and didn't know they were closing for the season. So our first thoughts were oh the food won't be as good since its the last day. You would have never known it was the last day between the food and the service. What a pleasant gem to find! We definitely will go back.

The deck where u eat is just breath taking lunch was great. Inside was also super cute. Will go back but they don't open till like 430 during the week

Really good food! Ordered off the spring menu and shared garlic parmesan wings, and I got the chef salad with beef brisket while my boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich special. The garlic Parm wings were amazing! We ordered a half dozen but thought we should've gone with a full dozen with how good they were. My salad was delicious and the brisket wis extremely tender.

We drove over an hour to get there. We did have to wait a bit as they had only 1 waitress. They have advertised fpr help to no avail.Potential workers say they cant turn down Bidens $ 300.00 dollars extra on top of regular unemployment every week. No wonder some cafes have closed for good. The food here is great. Four of us ordered different meals and we all loved our meal. We ate outside on a large patio over looking Lake Cayuga. What a day....

We love the Sawmill! The wait staff is always very polite and very good even during the busy times! The owner/chef Monica is top notch and brings lots of great food to the table. Its a favorite spot for me and the wife for weekend lunch (do both Saturday and Sunday you wont be disappointed) Sunday thay have in house smoked BBQ and Buffet set up! We gather there for all of the families "summer" birthdays but be sure to call ahead if you have a large party as thay are a family owned seasonal restaurant. We go as often as possible and always a pleasant experience, sit back, have a beer(s) , enjoy the food and the view!!

It was our first time here. The food was good and the staff were very nice! And the view on the deck was gorgeous.

We had Tammy right from the start, and she was sweet as pie! She had us sit at an indoor table while we waited for outdoor seating, and got our drinks and food order in as well all before our table was ready!
Can't wait to go again this summer!

My friend and I went for brunch the other day at the Sawmill. It was sooooo good. We started out our meal with their house blood marys. Yummy. Then
we both ordered the steak and eggs.
The steak was two petite filet mignons which were cooked perfectly by the way. The eggs and toast were cooked perfectly also.

One of the best breakfasts I have had.

I highly recommend eating here.

Perfect place for a day trip from Canandaigua to Naples, excellent food, beverage and atmosphere. The staff was so kind they even found and donated a jacket for me on our return journey. Highly recommend you call visit.

it is rare that i would enjoy a visit so much that i would leave a review. this first visit to the sawmill demands it.
my wife and i visited the sawmill with family last sunday for the buffet. what an all around enjoyable experience! every aspest of our visit was exceptional. from food to service to ambience everything was exceptional.
please do yourself a favor and experience the naples sawmill you will be pleased.

This restaurant has everything, amazing views over the best lake in NY, wonderful friendly staff, and great food. This is the only restaurant on Canandaigua Lake you can boat up and dock and have a great meal!

Sitting on the deck. Eating lunch. Watching the water. Just very relaxing. Best bloody Mary ever
