Honestly loved this place and would love to come back again. The service was fantastic and the waiter we had was terrific at helping us choose a wine to pair with our meal. Loved the roast eggplant appetizer. Also got to try a few of the main dishes - the agnolotti, the ragu, and the canelloni and they were all great. We didn't get to do dessert but the menu for it looked wonderful. Super cozy interior and the atmosphere creates a nice vibe for a cute date or a chill hangout with friends.

The new menu at Faun is exciting and creative. We had every dish on the menu. Always get the foccacia, the hamachi, and eggplant. The pastas were delicious, especially the duck confit pasta. The mushroom dish was amazing, and also the pork and beef. Desserts were perfectly light and not too sweet! Chocolate cake and semifreddo, and ginger cake!

A lovely and memorable night! We planned a small wedding dinner with Faun and everything from start to finish was seamless — from planning the pre-fix menu and creatively working with my family’s dietary needs to the amazing and thoughtful service. The food was so good my family is still talking about it days later. The patio space was the perfect backdrop for our dinner and created a cozy and intimate atmosphere for my family to socialize ☺ I only wish we took more photos of the food but you can’t go wrong with any dish!

A huge thank you again to the staff for making this a night to remember and I would highly recommend for anything from a date to a group dinner 💕

We did our little wedding dinner at Faun about a week ago and I want to say thank you so so much! It was exactly what I imagined it to be with the very intimate and comfy atmosphere - inside and outside with their cute backyard. It was our first time there and we made the right choice. The staff was amazing! So kind and caring putting in so much effort to make it a special but warm evening for us. The food was excellent. We decided to do their prix fixe format and had plenty of leftovers to take home. All of our guests loved the food but were almost full after the second course. I cannot recommend Faun enough and we're definitely going to come back!

We had a birthday table at Faun's and everyone had such an amazing time! The food was excellent and so was the service. Their amazing cocktails and wine selection went perfect with our meal. Great options for vegans as well (just let them know in advance).

A beautiful dining experience! Everything was wonderful from the food & drinks, to the ambience and service. Won’t recommend any particular dishes because honestly everything we tried was delicious! They have a mix of semi-outdoor, indoor, bar, and patio seating and the ambience is perfect for an intimate dinner with friends or even a date night.

Fish was a little underwhelming, but all the italian classics were unbeatable -- namely the aroncini and tortellini! The foccacia with whipped ricotta was excellent and the drinks were great too.

lovely food, cocktails and atmosphere! maybe don’t sit in the patio in the summer cause mosquitos are quite bad. recommend the burrata, Brussels sprouts with the pomegranate sauce, the black pasta and the banana cocktail.

Super cozy, causal luxury, adorable patio. Seasonal menu. Street signage is understated — I knew we were in for a treat. Close to Barclays Center. Anchovy Toast, Agnolotti were spectacular!

Cannot give Faun enough stars!! My husband and I had our wedding and reception here in September and it was perfect. The food was incredible — multiple guests said it was the best food they'd ever eaten at a wedding and one even said it was the best meal they have had! The staff were incredibly attentive, accommodating, flexible and friendly. When a guest unexpectedly needed a dietary accommodation, the staff seamlessly made sure she had a special dish made. The backyard was absolutely stunning and the staff moved furniture multiple times to make the ceremony, dinner and dancing all happen without incident. I cannot recommend Faun enough — whether for a once in a lifetime event or just a weeknight dinner.

Came for my birthday, table of 6 - made the reservation late so we got a patio table on an incredibly rainy evening and they could not have made it more cozy for my guests and myself. The food is incredible, I am still dreaming about the scallop raviolo. Eggplant is one of my least favorite foods but I devoured their eggplant dish, and the pesto gnocchi literally melts in your mouth. I gave full control of the wine pairing to our server, Adam and it was hit after hit. The Australian granache was mindblowing. No misses on this menu and the ambiance is cozy and chic. Their backyard is like a little fairy land. We left drunk, full, and giggly af. This should be on every resident of Prospect Heights' rotation of delicious eateries. Cannot recommend enough.

I went to Faun not knowing much and was delighted by the food and the ambience. Sitting outside next to the open street was very relaxing. The pasta and the appetizer were delicious, the fish was flaky (yum!). The pasta cotta was not as exciting to me. Service was fine, but not very attentive.

Great small restaurant right by Prospect Park. Would definitely go again. If you're thinking about trying the focaccia, do it! I recommend the pork shoulder ragu 👌 also shout out to the server who ran after us because we forgot a backpack there

The staff at Faun are so incredibly kind, warm, and professional. They make the experience one I continue to come back for again and again. The focaccia and ricotta starter is absolutely divine and the tagliolini neri pasta remains my go-to.

One of the best meals I’ve had in New York. We ordered the tasting menu and loved every bite. The chocolate almond olive oil cake was also incredible, a must get. I highly recommend!

What a gem! We came here for dinner early on a Wednesday night for a 5pm reservation. You know you are at a good restaurant when the staff is having a team meeting before the guests arrive. It shows that the chef really cares about the experience of the guests.

We had Aperol spritz which they made perfectly. Perfect proportions.

We had the buratta salad which was dressed perfectly.
And we had the gazpacho which had hints of strawberry in it making it quite unique.

Foe our main course we had the lamb Ragu and the artic char (salmon) plus the asparagus side dish. Would order all of them again!

For dessert we ordered the chocolate panna cotta. It came with yummy homemade vanilla wafer cookies.

Definitely order that!

Will be coming back again.

Gorgeous atmosphere with European vibe. Spectacular garden. Fun, moody cocktails. Vibrant service without pretension. Simple, delicious menu. Michelin sign for a reason. Priced for the quality - for us, it’s an occasional but very welcome meal. I’ve had killer monkfish and tilefish, while the spouse relishes the vegetarian pasta. Reservations recommended.

I've eaten here a few times and am finally getting around to leaving this review. I am doing so with hesitation as I don't want this place to become difficult to get a table at but I love the place and need to let the world know. The restaurant is cozy and the food is incredible. The flavor combinations in every dish work well together. A meal at Faun will impress even the most jaded foodies. One visit last summer I happen to be there when tiramisu was available on the dessert menu. I am not overly picky when it comes to food but I am when it comes to tiramisu. Theirs made my mouth so happy that I still think about it to this day. Last month I was there and had a beef cheek ragu dish (sorry I don't recall the exact name from the menu) that was phenomenal. This place does not mess around with quality in their dishes.
Besides the food, the service is top notch. The employees know the menu and are happy to discuss what is in each dish with you. I've never felt rushed there, only catered to. They make you feel at home and that adds to the reasons I keep going back.

Fabulous dining experience, my wife and I don’t get to go out as much anymore and this was a very nice treat. The whipped ricotta and Campanelle were top notch, would definitely dine in again.

My first time trying this in downtown Brooklyn! For such a highly rated restaurant, it was very affordable! The service was excellent and the food was on point.The only thing I would say is that the portions or a bit small for how much you’re paying. But the ambience and wine selection made it all worthwhile! Go to Faun if you’re looking for good food, great company ,and great service!
