Union Market

Open for about a year, this is a great little local supermarket. It does cater to a higher end clientele as the prices are not cheap. That said all the produce is fresh and great looking, the store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great meat counter too, and the prepared food options are very tasty.

Union Market is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They are unwavering in their efforts to provide the best of all products to their customers.

Everything is always perfectly displayed for open viewing. The butcher, fish monger, produce and deli departments are all expertly staffed making all visits fast, fruitful and efficient.

Great products and better quality. Alway fun to shop here. I always find new produce to try not found in the usual supermarket chains. Also lots of premade lunch items and sushi if you need to grab lunch to take over to prospect park.

Very nice grocery store. Well stocked and very clean. The employees are quite pleasant and very helpful!

One of my two go-to grocery shopping stores. I go to the Flatbush Ave location. Yes, overpriced but great offerings. They are weak though on organic produce and packaged veggies - like carrots, celery, onion, parsnips, and parsley for soup. Strong fish dept. (I am on the lookout for the food equivalent with better prices.)

My first time in this market. Gourmet ooh la la.very interesting food items. Love what I purchased. They have a nice bakery on the premise. Wheelchair access as well.

I thought this location looked a little too small to function as a primary grocery store, but it's actually got an impressive selection. It is a bit pricy but the quality of the food and the selection is excellent. When you look at the prices of prepackaged items, they're actually pretty competitive--cheaper than e.g. FreshDirect for a lot of things--and the produce, bread, and meat are very fresh. I absolutely love the cheese selection. It's pretty rare that I want something I can't find (except Cheez-its).

I also really the checkout experience here. It's a little unusual (one line leading to a row of cashiers in booths) but ends up feeling a lot more efficient and relaxing than the conveyor belt setup at most supermarkets.

Good selection and great staff. The meat and fish counter folks are especially helpful. Pricey but you get what you pay for - I’ve never had a single item that needed to be returned.

The staff is super helpful and run this place really well. The shelves are always stocked and there’s rarely lines inside the store. They have an impressively wide selection of products for such a small space and everything is well curated. Fish and meat counters also offer an impressive variety of sustainable options.

I have been going to Union Market on Union Street for 10+ years now, as a treat and supplement to purchase the items I can't get at the Coop or Key Food. Union Market's breads, fruits and cheeses are extremely fresh and beautifully arranged. I love the milk selection (they carry the hard-to-find Oatly Oat Milk!) their yogurt selection, U.M. brand ravioli, fresh salads / prepared foods and rotisserie chickens. This larger market on Flatbush is very convenient to me and carry much more than the Union St store. I've been a few times now since it's opened and it's always an enjoyable experience!!

Amazing market with a great variety of groceries. Fantastic deli and stellar cheese selection. Perfect for casual grocery shopping or getting ready for an extravagant party. Prices are great considering the amazing quality of everything there.

Shoutouts to the seafood department they went above and beyond to make sure I got the fish I wanted. Very kind & knowledgeable. Great first experience

Bigger store than the original on Union St. Very nice, lots of produce and other items. A couple of things I've been looking for unsuccessfully elsewhere.

An amazing selection of cheeses, meats, and sauces. And it is such a well decorated and organized place. Definitely will make this our regular grocery store!
