Nice grocery store. Good produce selection, a small deli area and a small section of prepared foods. A good spot near MSG.

This is a humongous store with way too many aisles of food and good food at that to choose from. Basic Manhattan prices but it's worth it as the selections are way to varied to narrow down

Could they lower the price of the CHIFLES plantains chips back from $3.19 to $2.99.

Decent supermarket, some items over priced, others at par, yet good selection of items not usually found elsewhere. Very friendly staff. I often come here.

I don’t know how I never knew about this Amazing super market .. I shopped there for the first time 12-17-2022 - they have a wide spread of variety for everyone The produce section has fresh vegetables and fruit really enjoyed how the prices were reasonable . supermarket is so clean and well organized.. I was surprise that they had such a large vegan selection of food for me an my family-It was very spacious peaceful an clean environment. The employees were extremely helpful and friendly .I will no longer be shopping at Western beef) for my monthly groceries. completely stressful environment there ..my experience here was wonderful I will be returning from here on out thank you for existing in Chelsea 🌟

The way store is set up It was easier for me to find anything that I wanted. And the cashier was very very nice

Friendly workers. Lots of unique products that I can’t find elsewhere. Decent prices.

Not necessarily one of the Lesser expensive places in the neighborhood but a lot of variety & options... Never gone wrong if you need to get fruit, vegetables, meat, Dairy, Frozen Foods, etc etc, etc.

*Good prices on brand name prepared meals like Kevin's or Hormel

Love this supermarket! Stock is great always stocked up on sale items which is a plus! Actually w inflation looming on every corner the prices here are actually pretty good and I am watching the prices go down on some everyday need items like eggs and coffee products! Clean and clutter free aisles! Fast check out but bring your own bags it's just easier they have paper bags at a small fee.Highly recommend this neighborhood store!

I like Ideal supermarket. They are the store that kind of compromises their pricing with the Chelsea label and it's struggling to survive clientele. Always clean and organized. Helpful staff.

The convenience and proximity are superb. A variety of foods and packaging to accommodate the family or individual. Best of all is the cost. The most affordable in Chelsea. I grew up here and although the neighborhood has changed. Everything is still very close to home. And if you've grown old (like me) delivery is prompt and cheap. Two words describe it best.
WORTH IT.

Love to shop here. I use to shop here Everyday, but I am not around now. They open up @7a. This place is so so clean, food clean. Staff members are very pleasant they Help you out. I love shopping here. They also sales vegan food it's good. Prices is not that bad. Fruits are Fresh. I like the girls who work there, they are so pleasant. I can't wait to shop here again soon. Ideal is a very convenient store to get to by bike. There is a Citibikes docking station across the street diagonally from the doors. They always seem well stocked, clean and they have great variety from carnivores tovegan items. Pricing is somewhat high but less than D,'Agostino's. Good place to shop.

Good prices and huge variety compared to most NYC grocery stores.

This place is great! If they don’t have what you’re looking for you can always ask one of the managers and they will order it for you. The produce is good but sometimes they need a little help in that area but other than that it’s great. And the staff is always so helpful and pleasant.

GREAT sales! Sometimes unbelievable! Weirdly, it doesn't look like a supermarket from the outside. Quite sizable though and pretty nice help. 💥
Note: fruits here have let me down A LOT. Bananas only item consistently good. I now only trust my street vendor for fruit.
Deli department really great at all times. Service generally impecable & WOW on sales each week.
No flowers at mine, in Chelsea.

Ideal Supermarket has upped its unique layout and department organization. I have 5 starred them now as they're pretty much impeccable!
The store managers are fully on hand, ALWAYS close by to help the customer. I've never seen anything like these guys.
The store has the widest range of products, wine & beer selection...
Produce is marvelous ~ always properly misted and well kept. Wow.
I could sing their praises further but instead would direct you to the 28th Street on 9th Avenue (Manhattan ~ Chelsea neighborhood) to check them out & grab their flyer!
Great deals, exceptional delivery, clean & (again) unique!

I do my major big shopping at Bjs/Costco's, at least twice a month, but do my little nick nack shopping daily at IDEAL. They have everything & anything you need for your food cabinets or fridge. I highly recommend them. And they don't kill your pocket for being a Manhattan supermarket. 👍
