Sulphur Springs Picnic Area

We went on a mushroom and wild flower hike with a tour guide named Natalie. It was very informational and everyone in the group was so nice. The only thing there was a hill that was a bit steep and for those of us who are not as young as we used to be it was very hard to keep up with the guide. She was answering the the question and showing us a lot but when it got close to the end of the hour she was walking real fast. A few of us were left behind because we just could walk (run) back that fast. It was still fun and we did see a lot but I wished she would have stayed with the group.

Always a 10/10 hike here no matter what trail combo I take :) I especially recommend hiking the river downstream from the parking lot though. Our dogs had a blast romping around on that hike 😊

Stunning landscape, well maintained trails. I might even come back during winter!

A great set of trails around a very interesting creek. In warm weather you can walk the creek and see some interesting creatures.

Beautiful gravel hiking paths. Nice shallow stream for kids to enjoy.

Great place to take little ones, low water. Slippery, water shoes or some thing other than bare feet or flops!!

Gorgeous and not highly populated. A very serene place to enjoy in the early mornings.

Amazing little park I’ve never been to before.

Great little spot for a picnic or a walk. Nice and shady with a creek just adjacent to it. Nice place for kids to play. Can take a short trail that intersects with the Bridle trail. Road in is narrow though so do take care not to speed in case of walkers, kids, or pets.

Beautiful trails, bursting with wildflowers. Trail was clear and clean, plenary of freedom to roam. This place was absolutely incredible. Plenty of parking, great place for dogs to play in the stream, family friendly. Trails are beginner endurance, and this spot is “just the tip.” The park goes on for miles. Very nice, highly recommend.

Unbelievably beautiful place to have a picnic and a gathering of people. We set up some tables outside of the pavilions and grilled hotdogs. The kids played in the creek and walked a little ways into the trails all around. The area is absolutely beautiful and quiet. I will definitely be back here.

Great place for a creek walk and picnic.

Steady in and out of people but not packed. This is a quiet little getaway great for a quick picnic lunch or walking the dog. Lots of birds to see and off the beaten path enough you don't get a lit of traffic noise.

This has to be in the top 3 of CLE Metroparks.

Clean. Quiet. Peaceful. Easily accessible. Perfect place for a quick dose of nature without traveling too far away from civilization.

Love this little park with its cascading rock formations and stream! A nice place to enjoy nature and get your feet wet.

Such an amazing little park, with great trails to travel! Cannot wait to go back and explore more!

One of my favorite parks in the state. Great water features and hiking on and off trail! Can get muddy but not tragically!
