Off the Wagon

I'm not sure what happened to my previous review, but I want to post an update. I love the good folks at Off the Wagon. They are kind, ethical, and disability friendly, which I really appreciate. Walking into their store is like going to a KB Toys again, an experience I really miss. They have incredible novelty gifts like mustached Christmas tree plushes, Great British Bakeoff Mugs , and hilarious dish towels--we have one that looks like our cat-- among many, many other items. There are plenty of toys to entertain your kids while you browse the store in search of your next big find. I highly recommend checking out their funny dish towels, mugs and magnets – and also their incredible game and puzzle selection.

Love this store! Have been a customer at the Kent store for years and am thrilled with this new location. Staff had me laughing and improved my mood for the day. I love a store that I can go to for gifts for young children, teens, nieces and nephews in college AND myself! I use all kinds of their Giant Microbe plushies (see photo) with the kids on my counseling caseload.

Love this place! Went for the first time recently and realized it is so much more than a toy store! They have so many amazing puzzles, socks, crafts, and, of course, toys! Things were very reasonably priced as well. I got a 500 piece puzzle for 15.99! This is a great place for gift for people of all ages, yourself included. 10/10, definitely check it out!

I’ve started doing jigsaw puzzles again since 2019 and was so happy to find a local gift shop that carries so many brands I love.

This is such an awesome store, kind of the opposite of apple jacks, which is close by. Instead of having tons of nostalgic stuff it has really cool, modern toys, books, etc. for kids and adults.

Great selection of unique gifts that they are sure to remember! Perfect for a treat yo self too!

Love this store! Stopped by recently looking for a gift for my nephew’s birthday but I was really stumped about what he might like. Amber and Danny were working that day and they were so helpful! They helped me find a toy my nephew loved and they were so kind and friendly in the process.

Great selection that allows for people of all ages to find something they like. The employees are very nice and have been very accommodating to neurodivergent people. I have had only great experiences here and can't recommend it enough. I personally recommend the corner of tabletop games, the corner of super cute stuffed animals, and the funky pens section they have!

Love this place and will definitely be back!! Stopped in for a gift for my friends child, and Amber was so helpful and answered all my questions! They were able to point me in the right direction for the kiddos age, and they even had some fun gag gifts for the adults. Def will be bringing the kiddo in next time !

One of the best toy stores I've ever visited! Any time I need a unique gift for a kid (OR an adult!) I drive 40 minutes just to go to Off the Wagon! There's quite literally something for everyone. They have an extensive craft/stationary selection as well as a really special curation of board games. I specifically go here for plushies and stuffed animals, but you really can find anything here! Each section is so well organized and tailored to different ages and interests. Not to mention Danny and Sawyer are so helpful and friendly! Can't wait until Cleveland gets a location!

Pretty much every gift I ever get is from OTW lol! Before I would drive all the way to Kent. They have the best stuff and all the staff are super kind, funny, nerdy and down to earth. The environment really makes me feel at home and I really like that they're always getting new stuff in. I super prefer to support small business as somebody who also works at a small biz. Chagrin really needed a shop like this with folks like this! <3

What a great store! I could have spent all day in there. I bought many Easter basket goodies. I love how the store is set up. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great atmosphere and outstanding costumer service. They have a large selection of Dungeons and Dragon's merchandise which is always a plus at any store I go to as well as a large amount of Fandom merchandise any nerd will be quite satisfied. Staff was very friendly and enthusiastic,answering any questions my friends and I had. We enjoyed their service so much as well as a larger selection of items that we have specifically gone to the Chagrin location for it, multiple times now.

Staff was kind and helpful as we perused through the store! They have such a wide variety of toys as well as more complicated games for adults. Definitely recommended!

I had an amazing experience at this store! Tons of funny gifts. I got a great Frank Lloyd Wright puzzle and a cute book about dachshunds! The staff was especially polite and helpful.

Why couldn't this have been here when I was a kid in '02!? I could have just walked here and bought Warhammer figures! It was a pleasant surprise to find your store when I visited last year. I was heartbroken when Taggarts Toys closed down when I was kid, and this place is more than a worthy successor.

I LOVE Off The Wagon in Chagrin Falls! It is a store you definitely have to stop into and experience. My favorite mugs and journals came from this store. The staff is always delightful and helpful. Fantastic selection of board games.

TL; DR: Like going to a KB Toys again. Great folks ready to take care of you. Unusual, adorable, and hilarious merchandise.

Best local shop for all ages. Great selection of Dungeons & Dragons books, plushies & lots of unique stuff. Love that the Chagrin location is handicap/wheelchair accessible as well. :)
