One of the best gyms I have ever used in my life (I’ve been to a lot). Been a member for nearly two years. New and well serviced equipment for all styles of lifting, great and clean facilities. Owners are professional, welcoming and helpful. This gym has an amazing community attached to it and I recommend Welcome to The Pit to anyone in their fitness journey, beginner to professional!

Great place to work out. Not too crowded. Tons of great equipment from general fitness to strongman. People are friendly and the place is clean. The front desk help don't just sit there and talk like other gyms. They are always cleaning!!!!!

Best gym I’ve been too. Great equipment, staff is helpful and friendly, all around good atmosphere. If your into strength training and powerlifting this is the place to be.

Been to multiple gyms in the city. This is the best one I’ve seen. Some gyms would be nice with quality equipment, but they lacked that culture of hard work (and 24h access). This gym is clean, and well managed. Signed up for a year immediately. Owners are also kind and tend to the facility well.

Absolutely love this gym and the people there. It's open 24/7 and is never overly crowded even during popular times. They have a large collection of dumbbells and plates so you never need to wait for equipment to become available. I love have a turf area to push sleds, do farmer carries, and yoke carries. They are constantly added new equipment and it is always clean. The best part is the friendliness of the owners, employees, and other gym-goers.

My Fiancé and I started coming here a couple weeks ago. The gym is clean. The hours are fantastic. There is a lot of equipment and little odds and ends you don’t really think about that make your work out more fun that is provided. And yesterday was the topper. When we were heading out one of the owners which we hadn’t met yet stopped us with such an inviting and pleasant departure greeting. He introduced us to his wife as they are both the owners and they were so sweet and kind. Their demeanor immediately made me realize we made the right choice starting here. You don’t feel judged and the atmosphere is top notch! This place Is awesome and motivates you on your journey to becoming stronger and feeling better about yourself! Definitely worth coming in and seeing all it has to offer!!! 10/10 we definitely recommend!!! And NO the owners did not even ask us to review I wanted too!!

This is by far the best gym I have ever gone to. Everyone is super nice and the owners are some of the coolest people I've met. They are constantly getting new equipment and reinvesting in the place. It feels like every couple weeks they are getting a new machine / implement. Whether you come for bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman, or weightlifting; they have the gear you need and then some. I'd give this place 6/5 if I could.

Welcome to the Pit sets itself apart from other gyms in the area by the community it has built. This is a strong man gym where the focus isn’t being the strongest person in the building but the strongest version of YOU. The people around you are there to help you grow and achieve whatever your goals are. Not sure how to use a piece of equipment and there’s no staff around? Ask someone and guaranteed you’ll make a new friend.

The owners are constantly updating equipment and refreshing different facets of the gym to keep things fresh and exciting. Members have swipe cards so even when the building is unmanned by staff, you feel safe working out at all hours of the night. I love being a member at WTTP and I look forward to seeing what changes come in the next year of my membership.

I started going here about a year ago and I love everything about it! The staff is super awesome and the members are great too! I have nothing but great things to say about this gym and highly recommend it, they have something for everyone! Best gym I've ever been apart of without a doubt!

Been going here since early 2019, awesome members, even better staff. Feels like an evergrowing family at The Pit. I’ve recommended this gym to just about everyone I know and that’s because of the people there, let alone the amazing price, quality of equipment, and the luxury of a 24/7 gym. If you’re in the Akron area you need to be at The Pit.

Theres absolutely nothing to not like about this gym. Quality equipment, great price, clean facility, and excellent staff. Also the 24/365 access is a godsend for those who work late/early shifts. The owners care about member feedback and are always open to suggestions. I rate this gym 12 out of 10

Incredibly nice staff and equipment. While the gym itself is small, they make excellent use of the space available, and since I typically came in at 4AM, had the place to myself. The rates were very acceptable as well.

I’ve only ever really workout at commercial gyms. For me this is the best gym I’ve been to. Especially as a inspiring powerlifter, they have everything I need and more. I love that they have more than two benches and three deadlift platforms. It’s 24/7 and the gym is always clean, plus you can beat their price as a gym.

Family owned gym with Top of the line equipment, owners of the facility are the nicest and open people heart people that are down to earth! 24/7 is a big perk, but the best part is the low monthly membership with no fee!

started going here a month ago.The vibe of the place from the minute you enter the door is awesome. Great equipment, very clean and the owners are very nice people. They always greet you with a smile. makes you feel like family .

This is the best gym I've ever been a member of, and I used to work at a Gold's Gym. This gym has pretty much everything to help you with what you're training for whether it be a strongman competition or MMA. I highly recommend this place.
