O'Faolains Irish Pub & Restaurant

A pleasant surprise! With the feel and atmosphere of a neighborhood pub, the food here is positively outstanding, and the beer selection just right. They have mastered the art of eggs benedict; whiskey cheesecake makes for brilliant afters!

Great place for food, drinks, and conversation. Went with friends for lunch, and between us had the Irish Breakfast, a Reuben, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Guinness Brie, and Tater Tots. All were excellent, staff was friendly and fun, and the beer was good. Definitely give this place a try.

Great Irish bar and restaurant. The new menu with Irish, American irish and pub classics is great and well worth trying.

The food is absolutely amazing. We ordered the crab dip for starters and it was amazing. I had fish and chips and the portions were huge, and it was delicious. We played trivia while there and that was a blast. It's definitely a place I'd love to go back too!

Stopped by randomly with my brother. Service was friendly and warm. We ordered or drinks and food. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict. My brother ordered the biscuits and gravy. The food looked amazing. The hashed potatoes obviously weren't from a bag. They were crispy and seasoned just right. Over easy eggs were perfectly cooked. Biscuits and gravy was spot on! Portion sizes were more than enough to fill is up.

Better than the food was our server Joanne. She took the time to chat with us and figure out that we like spicy food. She recommended that we try our potatoes with the house Diablo sauce. Amazing!

Always friendly service, always great food.

The food is delicious. The menu is quite different from what I expected at an Irish pub (although they do have all the standards including a wonderful Fish & Chips). Indoor seating is comfortable and roomy, atmosphere is nice. Outdoor bar is hopping on most weekends in the spring and summer with live music. Price is what you'd expect from a sit down restaurant and well within reason. ($35 for 2 meals, one of which had plenty left over for lunch the next day). Yum! Will go back.

We reserved Pub for mother's Wake. My Irish grandmother would have approved. The staff's efforts were noticeable and appreciated. The family event went off without any difficulties. The only surprise was the buffet style food. It was incredible! Delicious home made dishes. Always hot and plenty of everything! Really far beyond expectation. An all-around gem. My highest recommendation.

One of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious and the beer selection is decent. The servers have always been helpful and accommodating. Gone to a few of their live music shows. Good for a chill night out to drink.

Favorite pub in Sterling! Been here for brunch, dinner and apps/drinks. I'm constantly impressed with the attentive, prompt service, fantastic food, and solid cocktails. My boyfriend loves that they have Kilkenny on tap. The live music has been amazing on more than one occasion too. This place is perfect for a hearty meal, happy hour or just to catch a game and drink - great atmosphere!

Excellent food, great presentation and nice decor. They also have a very good selection of beers and other drinks. Each of our meals was tasty and beautifully presented. We had a mixture of Irish and American food, salads, pot pie, onion soup and bangers and mash, all of it properly cooked and served quickly.

Good solid pub. I've received great service every time I've been. Food is good and incorporates Irishy stuff in a good way. Patio area is great with live music and TVs for sports. As this is nearby to home, it's a frequent hangout.

A more recent update, since we go here a lot. Still a great experience and great food, fun place to hang out. Staff is super friendly even if you're not a regular, and they have great live music if you're into that.

We received excellent service this evening from Tina. We were both tired and hungry after a long drive. She set us up with comfortable seating and got our drinks right away. Our order came quickly, the food was hot and fresh. A very enjoyable dinner.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. My server seemed very knowledgeable about the beverages on tap. The drinks were a little on the spendy side, but reasonable for the area. They offered some beverages that you won't find anywhere else in this area too. I would go back if in that area again.

This place is a true locals Bar in Northern Virginia with an amazing staff and truly unique Irish food. Great for any occasion and offers Brunch, lunch and dinner! Staff is truly Irish and filled with rich history! Whether you are looking for a great place to dine or drink this is a must for Loudoun county. With live music, great bartenders and an incredible outdoor Bar this place never disappoints. DJ's and quality bands bring the nightlife to you with a quality experience. A long time customer, I would recommend this place to anyone. A new years eve party and other amazing events offered year round make this place a great place to spend your weekends and holidays. Stop in for a true taste of Ireland! You won't be disappointed!

Great pub atmosphere, excellent food, and very good staff. A great place to have a pint or a relaxed dinner. Good assortment of TV in the bar area and dining is reasonably separated from the bar. Good deck and outside bar when weather permits.

Every time we come here, I'm so impressed with how friendly the wait staff is to us and our kids. The brunch was good today, there was Rugby World Cup on TV, and the Guinness on tap was refreshing! 😁

The staff are very friendly and sociable. They show various sports throughout the pub and serve your usual barfood items.

They offer a selection of local beers and rotate "beers from around the world" every week - which is great if you're the adventurous type stuck in nowhere town.

The prices are not great, but this is probably the best place in the area to buy expensive beer.

First time at O’Faolins and was very impressed. It was reccomended by my friend to try while in town. Great atmosphere and phenomenal service. My breakfast plate was flawless. Portion size was filing, everything was fresh and not frozen, everything tasted great!
Joanne my bartender was great to talk with and took time to walk me through the menu and give me good recommendations on food. Great first experience and would highly reccomned to anyone in the area or just passing through!

I was over this way with a friend. We saw this pub and decided to stop in for lunch. Everything was excellent. I had few expectations but the servers and chefs hit it out of the park for me. Great service and superb meatloaf and potatoes.
