Giant Food

My local grocery store. Nothing bad to say about this place. It's clean, has variety, isn't too crowded. I've purchased some of their baked goods and they tasted fine. The beer selection here is quite good actually. I find new products almost every time I visit.

Their new self checkout policies are incredibly frustrating as the machine just yells at you if you move too fast or if you try and reorganize your bags before taking them off of the bagging area.

The recent plastic bag charges are a good thing but I don't like how they removed the additional plastic bag staging areas as I now can only load up one of their bags at a time.

After visiting Urgent Care this past weekend, I was on the hunt for a pharmacy that could fill a prescription and although my normal Giant is in Ashburn Village saw the one in Cascades and called the pharmacy to check on availability. Very quick response and positive and so went into the pharmacy and although only staffed by 2 (including the pharmacist) my prescription was quickly filled. Very courteous and efficient. Kudos.

It’s a bit pricey but has decent assortment section of items from organic to conventional. Staff are extremely friendly, and helpful. Always see the store clean and organized, the deli has good picks and I always see customers going to the bakers in the back. No complaints, only a nit pick about the price of some items. I’d recommend this giant

Too many people not distancing or wearing masks even though it's clearly posted. Seems people believe the rules don't apply to them. Just wish they would turn them away instead of turning a blind eye.

Easy in, easy out, generally easy to locate what you need. Unlike visiting Giant’s giant competitor over on 28, this is more like the small town grocery store experience I grew up with and am used to frequenting. (Don’t get me wrong, Weggie’s is great, too, but sometimes you don’t have time to fight the crowds and deal with parking and the whole nine!).

Also, the store is kept clean and they are abiding by COVID best practice.

Clean, Great variety, well stocked and friendly employees

Love the selection of natural soaps and cleaners.
The meat is also great
Pharmacy is there and priced right
They have those breads and cakes in the backery that you cannot miss it.
Also selection of fresh seafood, olives and salades.
Fruit is always well presented and looks good.
Anything for proteins and muscle fans.
Wine is also great here, even if priced a little.
Flowers fresh everyday.
And now you also have grocery pickup

I really enjoy salad selection bar. It always clean and neat. I am not good at automatic checkout, the cashiers always come and help me to checkout. The cashiers are really friendly.

Clean store, good produce, fresh meats, wide selection and good prices. Was actually expecting a Walmart style grocery store but it's way better than that. I'll come back here for sure every time I'm in the area.

My husband and I have been shopping at this location since it opened. We are very satisfied customers. Giant Food is very well supplied and the Pharmacy Is very good and reliable. They have my full confidence.

Cant complain about my local Giant...visit 2-3x a week produce and meat are fresh and priced fair for the area, managers cashiers and staff make this a friendly convienent shopping experience!

This still stands true

Under the pressure of the competition, Giant is constantly improving its selection. Some things have gotten excellent, the fresh seafood and fish section in particular. The place is particularly clean for a supermarket, which is appreciable.

Always find what I need here, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I've never seen it dirty or unorganized. Almost always well stocked.

Great special deals. Open late. Very helpful staff. Short lines at registers. Good food selection. Fast serving pharmacy. My fav grocery store.

Everyone at this giant is very helpful and polite. They usually have completely stocked shelves and rarely out of stuff. Very clean store !

The employees are always great and the store is always near and clean.

The deli is however extremely slow and they make you feel like they don't want to get your cold cuts.

Giants a good grocery store but like all stores I have to use a robot to ring up my groceries I think that's a bunch of malarkey if I have to pay for my groceries I don't want to have to wring them up too why don't you just wait until
