Travis came out to review our 18-month old hybrid heat pump water heater when we were experiencing only tepid warm water. From the get go he was honest on what portions of the heater he could actually examine/service. The water heater is a newer technology and very few plumbers in the area seem willing to service them. He checked for power to the two elements and found no issues. He then noticed a hissing sound from the pressure relief valve and determined that it seemed to be failing after only 18 months of use. It was allowing hot water to escape from the tank and flow out to our sump pump, so not allowing the system to come up to full temperature. This appeared to be the reason for our lack of hot water. The question remained as to why the relief valve failed in the first place. In examining the overall system, he determined that pressure coming into the house from the county water line was at nearly twice as much as normal. Travis also indicated that the expansion tank had been installed in the wrong location relative to the recirculating pump system we have. It needed to be located between the check control valve and the cold water supply to the tank. Ultimately, Travis replaced the pressure relief valve on the tank, repositioned the expansion tank and installed a pressure reduction valve coming in from the main line. I was very impressed with Travis's knowledge and expertise in evaluating and implementing the necessary fixes to our system. He had to make numerous trips between our house and his truck and did so in pouring rain. I recommend AllTech, Travis in particular. AllTeach was professional over the phone in scheduling our appointment and were able to send Travis out the same day. We now have hot water once again and are very grateful for that.

Our family woke up this morning with a broken heater and ~25 degree outdoor temps. I reached out to AllTech online at 6:45 am and had an appointment scheduled and confirmed with a rep from their office by 7:00am. They were able to quickly identify the problem, expedite the required part and fix my heater same day. Very impressed and thankful.

Kai was amazing. He was the only plumber that returned our call at 10:30pm. He arrived in 45 minutes of our discussion. He throughly explained what needed to happen, provided an estimate, and went to work. He ran the snake 136 feet to the city main. He then ran the scope about 80 feet to ensure the drain was clear.

Kai was amazing with his emergency plumbing work. Had to replace a busted pressure reducing valve & water shut off & not only was he nice & did excellent work, but he was also transparent & incredibly thorough. Would give more stars if I could & highly recommend!

Mike of AllTech Services did a 5-star job on the maintenance of our 3-zone home HVAC. He is not only very knowledgeable, but he also took the time photograph the problems we had and explain to us any critical or non-critical work needed. He also cleaned after his work, even debris from our pull-down attic stair that had nothing to do with his work. Mike is a very pleasant, knowledgeable, honest and efficient. I highly recommend him.

Wow! What can I say about Ryan. Talk about knowledgeable and professional. In an overnight emergency Ryan was calm and cool and took the time to walk me through everything I needed to do till he could get there. He spent the entire day outside in the freezing cold to get my water heater replaced so I'd have water and heat. He even got creative to get the job done when some tools froze. I cannot recommend Ryan and All Tech enough!

Very Professional & Courteous! Jason introduced himself at the door and immediately put on shoe covers upon entering my home. This showed me that he cared about my home and didn't want to track in mud from outside (rainy day). He explained what he was doing/testing and was able to do a full semi-annual check up within 10 minutes. Highly recommend this company!

John did a great job with my plumbing inspection. He is very easy to work with and very careful to protect my property by putting down floor covering when draining the hot water heater.

I had a carbon monoxide alert. After a visit from the Fairfax County Fire Department locating my problem in the furnace room I called All Tech. Jason, my mechanic was here in just over an hour. He viewed all my systems and located the issue. Too bad for me a new furnace is in the works, but Jason explained what happened, why it probably happened, and the best choices going forward. Having a service contract is worth the expense and All Tech and Jason came through--professionally and expeditiously.
