Herndon Fortnightly Library

This is a biased review because I love libraries in general. They have these cool book sales of donated books where hard covers are $2 and paperbacks $1. Also includes lots of events for the Herndon community

Calm space, and you can see lots of green out the windows. Nice big room for quiet working, comfy chairs for reading, super nice people working at this branch, and tons of outlets for electronics. I will be working here when I want a break from working at home! And, of course, love the request/hold system.

Love this little library. The staff are kind and the library is cozy and welcoming. They have lots to offer beyond books (conversing in English, stitching class, puzzle exchange, etc)

A cornerstone of downtown Herndon. Great place to go to kill an hour or two or to find your next read. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The catalog system is easy to learn. There are lots of shaded benches in the area surrounding the library that are perfect for some outdoor reading when the weather is nice. The bottom floor has a several shelves of books for sale. My favorite local library!

You can make toys,stitch,read books and have a good time

Great Team of Staff Specially at the Help Desk, The place is very nice to do what u need to do in 30 Minutes (because of Covid that is how long you can stay inside. But you can use the Computers and then look for a Book and out you go.
ONLY Upstairs Bathrooms are Open, also if you Don't have a Library Card to use Computer you can ask for a Guess Pass.

I just went there to do early voting.

This is my first time to this library. The library was very spacy and very informative. And the staff wer very helpful finding books very interactive . Love this place. Had quite study rooms. Basically the atmosphere was very quite and helping to settle down.

Tables chairs carrels downstairs in lobby, additional tables upstairs
Not crowded most of the time
Can be noisy if groups using meeting rooms
Or if children not supervised

Very peaceful place to study, friendly staff. The sit out on the first floor is very nice. There is a walking trail by the library .I visit library regularly.

Herndon Fortnight Library is one of the Satellite Locations for early voting. It's also a great library and a great place to have meetings.

The reservation service and self checkout make getting books fast and easy.
