Budget Car Rental

Got the Budget shuttle bus to the rental depot with no problem. Helpful driver got our cases on board and at the depot in minutes. No problems with the pre-booked car, which included a free upgrade to a premium sedan. Good quality car (Nissan Maxima). The staff member on the desk was very helpful and we were away in no time. Good service all round!

Got the budget rental bus from terminal and it was good. Got the car but the bridge seat was in the rear end but I needed it in the middle. The customer rep Katherine was as helpful in getting my issue resolved when it was taking too much time. Appreciate the service by her in addressing it quickly with her manager.

Very easy pick up and drop-off. Good price. Good customer service -I had to switch drop-off locations due to a canceled flight. The customer service rep was friendly, made the change fairly quickly, and there was no additional fee.

The people that I’ve worked with on numerous occasions at the Dulles International Airport Budget Rent-A-Car, are always top notch and are very knowledgeable and take care of you in the quickest and most expeditious manner possible.
The manager that I have worked with named Atif is amazing. I had one small issue and it was resolved like I was a VIP member or even closer to a co worker treatment. I am thankful that they make renting a vehicle so simple and hassle free. The last thing you want after a long flight is a bigger delay at the rental car counter.

I like the budget car rental. I had very good experience with customer service.. I want to have a smaller car as I was not confident to drive a bigger one so in the same price they provided me the electric one. The process for drop off is straightforward so once you are done, you just go there and put the car in lane that attendant will come and scan you are done.

I accidently forgot my cosmetic bag in the rental. When I returned 24 hours later to the Budget at Washington/Dulles, the staff on duty were so helpful. The vehicle attendant was kind and suggested that I go to the counter in hopes that they may be able to help locate my bag. The ladies at the counter made a call to Asma, a worker on duty. She took the time to search the lost and found bin and located my cosmetic bag. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the team on duty and the care that I received at Budget.

Recently rented a Chevy suburban from budget. Had to filter through a total of three vehicles to get a clean one. One wreaked of cigarette smoke. Employees were patient to allow us to explore several vehicles to our satisfaction. Would definitely rent from again.

At first my family was given a sporty Camry (spoiler, loud muffler, and all). However, what started as a strange and a bit rocky experience, became an absolutely wonderful one when we brought the car back for exchange the next day (it was the correct size we booked so we tried it but turns out it had been driven like a sports car and started shaking around 50 mph). The team was prompt to address my concerns and swap the car out. They didn't have our size car so they went a size up for free to give me a Sonata. When I went to the lot to get one, they then only had other car types so the gentleman in the lot decided to just upgrade us to an SUV for free. With the snowstorm and baby in the car, this was a very welcome change. It was also such an easy process to switch cars and I could not be more grateful for the teams help as that car then not only met our needs, it exceeded our expectations for the trip. Had a tear in my driver's seat, wanted to be sure management knew it, they upgraded me, in the next truck, I had a piece of plastic come off with this 4runner and they said not to worry,"thank you for letting us know, we will make a note of it so you won't be charged as it was pouring rain out the day of rental and was not conducive to a detailed pre-inspection!" I had prepaid for a tankfull of gas but was only a 7 mile commute and filled the take for less than 1/2 tank for the week. .they still charged for the full tank, I spoke to customer service they fixed the change...well done!

After flying from LAX to IAD (Dulles) on business, which already makes for a long day, having to grab luggage etc, I just wanted to get in a rental car and head to my hotel. Enter Atif (hope i spelled this correctly) I think hes one of the leads or something at the Dulles IAD airport Avis/Budget desk. Talk about super friendly and knowledgeable. He treats you like youre a family member and just the way he does business makes it seem like "Above and beyond" is how he just does his job normally. I know he cant take care of all of you, but if youre lucky enough to get helped out on your rental by him, youll be thankful. One of his colleagues Tahir has been a great help a few times also when i had late arrival times. A smile, a thank you, followed by a drive safely and call if you need anything and a firm handshake by both are just part of the great service Avis/Budget provides to their customers here.

I had a great experience at Budget in IAD. My car was ready with no hassle and no wait. Plus the bus driver for Budget helped carry my suitcases and golf clubs to my car. He was just trying to help an older person and be nice. Made my day.

Was an easy process of setting up for my rental and once I arrived off my flight the car I requested was ready. It was quick and easy. I had to return the rental a lot early than expected and there was no issues. I will be returning for my next rental need.

The return process was a little different. You just park, leave the keys in the car, and walk away. No one checks anything so I always take a few pictures of the car before I leave.

I had a great experience renting from this place. Originally I was assigned a Kia and was concerned about driving it due to the Kia Boys so when I went back to speak to someone they (Patrick) acknowledged my concern and allowed me to rent a different car. The car was clean and it was an easy process. I truly appreciated being heard and accommodated.

Great one way return experience from Chicago. Dropped off the vehicle, staff were friendly and professional and let me know about the free shuttle to the terminal for a cheaper lyft ride home. Shuttle was nice and convenient.

My flight was delayed by 22 hours, which apparently voided my prepaid rental. However, the man behind the counter quickly made a new rental and applied my pre-paid amount as a "voucher" to it so that I didn't end up having any extra costs and could get on my way.

That being said, I do hope Budget implements a system where pre-paid reservations are not automatically voided if the rental is picked up at a later time due to flight delays (even though I had provided my flight information at the time I booked it). While I was blessed to have an employee who was clever enough to work around this, I've had family member's in the past who were straight up told, sorry, you have to pay for a new rental.

BUDGET is hands down the best value rental company in the USA. We live in Germany and do our research for our visits, since we need a car for 2-4 weeks. Thrifty always looks like it will be the cheapest, until you realize that they charge you an extra driver fee on top of everything for a spouse to drive the car. It almost doubles the cost of the rental! BUDGET allows spouses to drive for free, making our trip hassle free. Tolls were also not a big deal, since they only charge $6 per day that you use their toll machine (plus the cost of the tolls.) - we pay by cash if possible, but almost everywhere we traveled was cashless, and we felt like BUDGET didn't take advantage and charge us a fine or double the cost of the tolls. In addition, as a FASTBREAK member (free to join) they upgraded our car both of our visits. The first time it was only because the car we requested was not available, but we did not complain! FASTBREAK means that you can pick up your car without even talking to anyone, and return literally takes 30 seconds. Keep on keeping on, BUDGET, and you'll continue to get our business.

The last thing you want when you travel to a foreign place is stressing about the services you use there. Everything was smooth and done well—car was amazing. Pick-up and drop-off + bus shuttles were great. Yes there was a bit of a wait to get the rental but that’s alright. We all waited. My only critical feedback is they let one particular customer jump the entire queue (I live in that customer’s part of the world so I know for a fact they wouldn’t even wait in a line back home) when everyone has been patiently waiting — good for folks at the counter to somehow be mindful of who’s actually supposed to be next in line. Ultimately thank you for your good work.

There were plenty of selections of rental cars, and they were for a great price. I really recommend renting a rental car from here if you’re going to be staying a while, because when I got my car here, it was pretty clean, great shape, fairly cheap, and etc.
