Air and Space Museum Gift Shop

So incredible!! This is truly the evolution of air and space travel all under one roof! From the earliest air ships, to balloons, to the Space Shuttle Discovery! I could spend many hours there reading all the information and looking at everything. Absolutely worth whatever it takes for you to go see!

Love love the Air & Space Museum. I never have enough time in a visit to see all there is in this fabulous museum. There is so much to see and do. I day isn’t enough for me, but if you stroll through and don’t read everything like I do you’ll be fine. I like to examine and read everything. I also like to watch some of their movies. This is a great place to spend the day for young & old.

For someone who is interested in military history, this place is a gold mine.
The place is a big hanger, super clean and amazingly managed.

And since its next to the airport, its a great waiting spot for your pick ups as well.

An amazing display of modern aeronautics. You can easily spend hours here reading about all the exhibits, without even visiting the tower or sitting through an IMAX film.

Free entry, but $15 for parking. Shake shack and a small grab-and-go options for food. Bottled water is allowed in.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, or want to see more aviation history after visiting the National Air and Space Museum on DC.

There is so much to see! My favorite was the Rover collection on the second floor. I wish there was more on the incredible era of Airships like the Zeppelin. The Empire State building was designed and built as an airship harbor, but the Museum holds only a tiny 4-foot wide mention of that incredible time on Air and Space history.

If you like air plane or space shuttle, this is the museum you want to visit. Good for kids and adults. Don't forget the gift shop, too. Free admission, $15 parking for a day.

The guides are so informative. We loved the observation tower, the IMax show, the simulators, the interactive displays, and the view of the restoration area. We had a great lunch at the Shake Shack, too. You have to visit!

Amazing place with so much history. Here with cadets of Virginia Wing of Civil Air Patrol helping the museum staff with event booths for the Air and Scare Halloween event. Lots of Kids and families. Also tons of Star Wars characters.

It's currently free to enter, but you must pay $15 for parking. They have quite the collection! Highlights are the Enola Gay B-29 Superfortress bomber, Discovery space shuttle, Concorde, and even a SR-71 Blackbird!. I suggest taking a peak at the workshop back of the museum where they restore aircraft. Saw a P-51 Mustang, B-26 Maurauder, and a German Messerschmitt Bf 109 being restored. They also have an Imax theather and gift shop. If you're a fan of Aviation or World War 2 aviation like me, I think you will enjoy this museum.

My favorite museum in the world. You can see Shuttle Discovery, Concorde, SR71 and many more. Museum is not crowded and best of all it's free. It's a must see when you visit DC or Virginia.

Terribly awesome in scale and quality of aerial exhibits. Three impressive vehicles for me were the actual Enola Gay, space shuttle Discovery, and an SR-71 blackbird.

First time visitor, spent 3 hours and planning to go back for a whole day and have lunch at Shake Shake!
Great for families of all ages. Very accessible.

One of the best places to visit with your entire family .. parking is only 15$ and no entrance fee .. I went on Friday evening and there was no wait time .

It is a very attractive place for both children and adults. It has different parts and you can see the evolution of the planes. You can experience flight simulator games and it has many other parts as well. The staff is very polite and kind. Totally worth watching more than once

Absolutely amazing. Great air and space museum. I would highly recommend taking the free guided tour as all the guides are so knowledgeable and have a lot of information interesting that enhances the experience. I learned a lot about the history from my guide.

Great too for travelers who have a layover or who are flying in/out of Dulles.

Amazing! What an experience as a tourist, was so amazing to see all the facts from history and get to see all the amazing and awesome planes and space related themes!

Also a definite is that you should do the 360 simulator for fighter jets, it’s amazingly fun to do as a pilot 🧑🏻‍✈

This is amazing place for every age group. 15$ parking is absolutely worth it. Every now and than I visit this if I’m in area around 4pm, as parking is free from 4 pm to 5.30 pm. Great work Great restoration , staff all 👍
