Washington Dulles Airport Marriott

Conveniently located at the airport with a shuttle that can take you to and from the terminal. If you have a rental car, it is $10 a night to park in the lot there. There is NO free breakfast included but there is a paid bar and restaurant in the lobby. Stayed here for one night before a flight out. This hotel is massive and it could be a short hike until you find your room. Rooms were clean. Shower did run out of hot water fast. Could hear the planes every once in a while. Overall it was a good stay for a night and super convenient being able to wake up and be at the airport within 5 min.

Close to the airport. 3 minute shuttle to the hotel. The receptionist was amazing, friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious and clean. The power of the shower was great. Nothing beats a good, refreshing shower in the morning prior to boarding your plane. Highly recommended.

This hotel is great for a short trip as it is 5 minutes from the airport, does offer shuttle service to and back. The hotel looks historic from the outside but the rooms are great, the restaurant has a limited menu but good food. The rooms are spacious and just a good vibe. It is far away from any historic sites, so put that into account if you are visiting for the sites. I would recommend and stay there again when in town for business.

The 1 item that stands out is the staff courtesy and professionalism and in particular Mr. JUAN who made our family visit with kids very comfortable to Allin addition to the support servers at the main restaurant in particular Rolly & Emmy both are great addition to Marriott.
I would thank also the GM for the hotel property who was proactive and requested kindly any feedback and suggestions going forward.
The hotel location is excellent and transport shuttle is indeed a plus.
I would suggest to allow small breakfast buffet in the executive lounge for Marriott membership.
We faced a small Aircon issue in 1 room but Mr. Juan was spot on to ensure we get an upgraded rooms promptly.

I went to a wedding in the Grand Ballroom and it was a stunning affair. The parking was free and had plenty of space, the room was clean and well kept. Loved it.

Great location! Closet high quality hotel to the airport. Shuttle was quick and clean. Hotel restaurant delicious. Super helpful and polite staff - especially Ayden! He went above and beyond to ensure I made my early flight.

Overall, a very good stay at this hotel. This hotel was chosen because of its proximity to Dulles airport (5-minutes) and the free extended parking perk. We did NOT hear airplane noise because A/C noise muffled the sound. Check-in was good. The room was good. King bed was very comfortable. One major plus for this room was excellent shower head pressure. Concierge lounge was good. Shuttle service was good. Bottom line up front: It is worth the money.

I've traveled through Dulles Airport a few times now, and each visit has been relatively straightforward. The airport layout can take a bit to get used to, but once you're familiar, it's easy to navigate. One thing I've consistently noticed is the cleanliness of the terminals and restrooms, which is appreciated. While the airport can get busy at times, the staff seems well-equipped to handle the traffic, ensuring that lines move efficiently. The variety of dining and shopping options also come in handy during longer layovers. Overall, my experiences at Dulles have been positive, making my travels a bit smoother.

Perfect place to stay if you have an early flight from Dulles. Staff is wonderful. Great location, shuttle runs 24/7. Great concierge lounge.

Convenient to the airport! If you happen to visit the restaurant/ lounge. Please look for Sharma .the best employee I’ve ever met. I always look forward to my visit here because of her. She’s worked for Marriot 20+ years and her work ethic is unmatched by anyone.. she truly is a wonderful person to meet and be taken care by here at this hotel.

Really good location! Clean and large rooms. The bathroom is a little small, though. The service was quick and nice. Really spacious halls. The wifi wasn't free too. Location is good for everyone traveling to DC regardless of whether they used Air or Land

Despite the hotel opening in 1970, the building is well maintained and the rooms appear to be like new, with a significant remodel a few years ago. The bathroom was a little on the small side and did not receive as much of an upgrade as the rest of the room during the last remodel but I was there for only one night.

The food at the Hotel Restaurant, which really was more of a bar than a restaurant, was really good and happy with the service. I did use the indoor pool and was disappointed the outdoor was not open, likely due to regulations since a lifeguard is necessary due to how deep the pool is, but the weather was not ideal for outdoor swimming anyway.

I was able to receive a slightly enhanced room per my preferences with my Gold Status at check-in, which I did at noon, well before formal check-in time at 4pm. Check-out was easy and the shuttle to IAD was only 4 minutes. I would definitely stay here again but my only issue is the premium Marriott charges for this hotel since it is technically on IAD property as compared to the nearby Westin. (The night I stayed, the Marriot was nearly $100 more than Westin.) I would recommend this property to everyone, just with the understanding that you'll be paying a good deal more to stay here compared to the nearby Westin/Courtyard/Fairfield.

Let me tell you a little story. I was supposed to land in Boston at 10pm. Instead, United deposited me at Dulles at 3am. There were hundreds of people in the line at the service desk and nobody was answering the phone at United and the online service agent had been lobotomized, so I did the only reasonable thing and exited the airport. Walking from Dulles to the Marriott at that hour is a very weird experience. The environment is definitely not intended for pedestrians. With luggage. If you can imagine all this, you'll believe me when I say that arriving at the Marriott felt like I had ascended the stairway to heaven.

Great hotel and staff. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Darnell who took wonderful care of me. Everytime thereafter when he would see me he would refer to me by name which is amazing customer service. We stayed for a convention and the hotels service for the convention members was fantastic as well. Room was clean and quiet. I honestly have nothing but good things to say. The main thing that made this hotel great for me was the staff. Darnell and everyone else I interacted with were all so kind and helpful, it made me want to go back and stay there next time I am in town!

Thank god for this hire after the worst flight ever during some storms and being diverted twice, it was wonderful to just catch the shuttle from the airport, get a last minute room, and crash for sleep before renting a car to drive home.

The staff here is exceptional. They are constantly above par whether it be the front desk or the bar. The executive lounge is always stocked with goodies. This is my favorite place to stay.

I spent one night here in order to be closer to the airport for an early opening flight. Nicely appointed, very clean, and friendly. Makes me want to come back and just hang out.

The hotel is great the location is good if you are catching a flight ,but if you need to get someplace to eat or shop it's very inconveniently located . The rooms are well maintained and the people at the front desk are very kind and helpful . The restaurant can get busy and the service can be slow during peak times . Besides that overall is a comfortable stay .

This place is a vibe. Very active when I arrived. The atmosphere was vibrant and the place was impeccably clean.

Staff were super friendly, the food was excellent, and the bar is amazing! The whole place is beautiful.

The location couldn't be better as it's right next door to the Dulles airport. I highly recommend this place for your next stay when you're in the area.
