Mason District Station, Fairfax County Police

I am so amazed by Fairfax County Police and dispatchers. I lost my purse today and was very upset. I left my name and number and they responded in a timely fashion. MPO Atkins and OFC Constanzi were extraordinarily polite and responsive to my situation. I just wanted to give them a shoutout for their incredible customer service. Erin Kraft

I want to give a special thank you to officer Atkins. He took some of his time to have a special conversation with my 7 year old son. He made a huge impact on my son. I was assisting a homeless individual who was having difficulties with the Fairfax County Department of Housing. I asked Penny Gross's office for assistance and her staff was exceptionally helpful in a number of ways which brought the matter to a successful conclusion in short order.

I'm not clear on why several comments here address the police department. (I have had similarly unsatisfactory customer services experiences with the person at the police dept. window.) The staff in Supervisor Penny Gross's office, though have been VERY nice and helpful on each of the several times I have gone there with an issue.

Thanks for dealing with criminals daily and helping to keep us safe. Tough, dangerous work.

These guys are extraordinary!

I understand that this place is the police sub station for Mason district part of Fairfax county. However, I didn't know it included the district government offices. The reason that I gave one star was the lady at the police sub station flat out lied to me. A few years ago I received a called from this police substation said that I needed to sign some documents there. So I went there and next thing I knew, they arrested me. I had missed a court date because I thought it was on a different day, and the judge issued a bench warrant. Instead of lying, the police lady could had told me that I had a warrant out, and I needed to surrender to the police. I can see why there is so much distrusts between police and the people they're suppose to serve and protect.

God forbid you ever have a crime against you and this station has to respond. They need to simply shutdown as I don't see their purpose of being open. No returns your phone calls, officer or their supervisor and no one investigates accidents

Trying to connect a break-in in my neighborhood with the people who have been breaking into cars, mine included, and the lady who answered the phone was very rude. She refused to be helpful and acted like I was asking too much of her. She didn't introduce herself or give a name, just kept saying she couldn't help and rushed me off the phone. I don't understand why you would go into law enforcement with that attitude. I am already doing most of the investigative work for them, I just needed one last thing to solve it.

The lady at the front desk is rude, maybe she has that attitude towards everybody, whatever. She asked the reason for being there and made us wait for a long time. Even though nobody was ahead of us. At one point I saw her get up and grab a fork and some napkins from the cabinet. She was eating at her desk and watching tv, Kim Kardashian's show was on. Lol. I assume there are break rooms at the station. So unprofessional. Other than that everything else is cool. I recommend calling them instead of going there if possible.
