Food Lion

This is my go-to place for shopping and savings. Very friendly and always helpful staff.

After being completely screwed over by 1800 Flowers, ran to this Food Lion in desperation late the night before Mothers Day. The employees were so sweet and helpful and helped the kids and I save the day!! So thankful

Arguably the best Food Lion in town. Always in stock with items and seems to be managed well.

I am happy to say that this Food Lion to my surprise had their registers open until 11:00 p.m. with cashiers self checkout is available but you don't have to use them thank you for this Food Lion

They have the best fresh chicken salad. If I get there before 5 it usually isn't sold out. Love the self checkout option which makes it easier to get in and out.

I really like this Food Lion grocery store. It big, it's clean, the employees are very knowledgeable, respectful and their in-house Rotisserie chicken salad is just wonderful and it's made fresh everyday.
This is it and I make sure I p/u my salads from especially in the summertime.
I have not yet been disappointed for whatever I go into this particular Food Lion.

Best bakery out of all the Food Lions in town. The staff there is always friendly, helpful, and seem generally happy to be there. I go there for all my groceries because I can trust them to have quality products and if they don't have exactly what you need (due to demand) they have so many lovely alternatives. That's coming from someone who strictly adheres to their list and products, this food lion serves my very particular shopping styles. They always seem to have the freshest fruits, veggies, meats, cheese, prepared foods, desserts, and pastries/breads. I used to not like food lion because I had been spoiled with Norges Farm Fresh, but this Food Lion, stands to the same level as the once great Farm Fresh, known for it's quality and local service. In some ways I kind of see it as Farm Fresh now, because it far surpasses any Food Lion I've been to, both in product and people who work there. Good job guys! You're the bread and butter for the burg to me, and without you.. I'd be very unhappy with my croissants. Much love!! -Your loyal local from Conway!! ♡

I really love this particular Food Lion. Wide aisles, clean as a whistle at all times, and a friendly, helpful vibe that clearly comes from the top. It will be my grocery going forward

Food Lion is conveniently located on John Tyler Lane. This store was clean and maintained. They offer a decent selection of grocery items at competitive pricing. Food Lion offers store brand products at a cheaper price.

I found what I was looking for self checked out, no problem, very easy. Got to the car and realized I had double scanned an item. Went back in and someone came right over and assisted me. He was very helpful and did not make me feel like it was a problem even though it was my fault. During Covid it is difficult to have enough employees, they were busy but helped me with a good attitude. Thank you.

Very happy with the home delivery. The first I have used this. Perfect when you are not going out of your house. It was easy to navigate and select the items I wanted and specify times to be delivered. The young lady who delivered my things put them on my covered front porch as I had requested when placing my order. Will use it again

2017-06-24 Excellent customer service, self checkout and usually see personnel stocking shelves with more products. Sometimes low in milk.

A year ago/prior, I said, Excellent grocery shopping experience. Not a lot of people there, personnel are always friendly, and I recommend this place.

Recently remodeled puts a nice touch on a standard grocery store.
What is great about this store?
1) It is the cleanest and least congested of any in Williamsburg.
2) The employees are so interactive and friendly. In my 5 years here, I have never gone there without an employee reaching out to help and ask if everything is OK. There is something threaded in the store's culture that makes people feel as if they own the success of the store and the customer's experience.

The best grocery store in the area. Prices are lower than the others. The staff are amazing. I know people that drive across town to shop that this store.
