I’ve gotten assorted treats from Nikkie and her awesome team for years, but our most recent experience was by far the best. We ordered a custom cake for our daughter’s 5th birthday. I sent a few inspiration photos and my budget and let them know I also had a cake topper I wanted to use. Faith suggested a couple options in my budget that would customize it to our Cinderella theme and Nikkie helped to finalize the choices. When I picked up the cake I was stunned; it was perfect and when our daughter saw it she was absolutely enchanted. The birds and ribbons from Cinderella are one of her favorite parts of the movie, and they brought the entire thing to life. Everyone at the party commented on how gorgeous (and delicious) the cake was and we ate nearly the entire thing.

Sage did our wedding cake and a huge dessert table for our 170 guest wedding in august and every single one of my guests are still raving about how amazing the desserts were.
I worked with Ally to help design my perfect cake as well as pick out all the cupcakes and desserts for our table. The whole process was painless and the tasting was amazing. They really can do anything there.
Set up was perfect and the whole display looked amazing. They are so professional and the quality is top notch. Would def recommend sage to anyone getting married!

They are so consistent! They did our wedding cake back in 2022, and were so professional and friendly - they made designing our cake easy, and everything cake related on the wedding day was easy as well (and delicious). Two years later, I reached out to them to get our cake as cupcakes - the only issue is that we live in a different state. They made everything so easy to figure out, and shipped the order overnight. The cupcakes traveled so well, and tasted even better! Everything involving this group has been beyond pleasant!

I’m sure the dessert tasted great because when we went over to our dessert table, there were barely any desserts left! The dessert I was looking forward to the most (chocolate chip cheesecake bars) was already eaten by everyone! Safe to say, everyone enjoyed it.

We ordered our tiered wedding cake, 2 dozen Chocolate with Chocolate Frosting cupcakes, 2 dozen Cannoli cupcakes, 2 dozen Blackberry Sage with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting cupcakes, 2 dozen Pumpkin with Cream Cheese Frosting cupcakes, 2 dozen Turmeric Chai Spice with Cream Cheese cupcakes, 2 dozen Chocolate Chip Cheesecake dessert bars, 2 dozen Lemon dessert bars 2 dozen Salted Caramel dessert bars, 2 dozen Apple Crumble dessert bars, and 1 Dozen Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Keep in mind that they charge for their wedding tastings and we recommend contacting them as soon as possible because they can get behind on responding due to how busy they get. Otherwise, they are great to work with!

I recently celebrated a milestone birthday and got my cake from Sage Cakery. The cake was amazing!!! Beautifully decorated, moist and delicious. The flavor was Blackberry Sage and it was a hit - I received so many compliments from the guests. And the icing tasted incredible as well. I highly recommend!

Sage Cakery was awesome to work with! Our guests raved about the cake and desserts - don’t hesitate to lock them in for your big day! Everything was beautiful and delicious!

Sage Cakery was the perfect choice for our display/cutting cake. The cake was delicious and the perfect size for us. The employee on the phone was great to work with, and it was easy picking the cake up on the day of the wedding. If you want a wedding cake that is both beautiful AND delicious, I highly recommend Sage Cakery!

Very lovely bakery. Customer service was great. Cashier made different suggestions and let me know about some of the items that were specialty made. Brought home a few treats and everything was delicious. Cupcakes were so moist in the icing so light. The raspberry Sammy I bought was too shortbread cookies with some raspberry filling and a little icing on the outside and some sprinkles. So delicious! And I got such a cute little Valentine's Day. Raspberry swirl cake pop!

Nikki and her team make absolutely GORGEOUS cakes. At the Attaboy Barrel House, we have the pleasure of hosting weddings and get to see their beautiful work up close. Her team pops in, sets up a beautiful display with no fuss, and pops out as if they were never there. They truly are cake fairies!

I judge a wedding by its cake…and that is why I highly recommend Sage Cakery. We asked for a vegan 4-tier traditional white cake (with half the cake having raspberry filling) and Sage Cakery made us the very best, most beautiful cake that I have ever seen. It looked AMAZING and was the best tasting cake EVER!!! I cannot tell you how many guests affirmatively commented on the VEGAN buttercream!!!! And the cake itself was so tasty and moist that most guests did not believe it was vegan!!! Seriously, from the moment of our first email to Ally through the tasting and a growing guest count, Ally and her team always responded immediately and with joy and excitement. The cake arrived at our outdoor venue in perfect condition…with fresh flowers and our white rabbits wedding topper. The cake stayed in stellar condition until after dinner and, again, was the moistest and most yummy cake that we have ever tasted. Everything about Sage Cakery is stellar…they are thorough, professional, kind and pleasant.. and made everything so fun and easy. We could not be more pleased with their artistry and culinary talent…and that sentiment is shared by our family/friends who attended.

These cupcakes are a HUGE hit among my friends and family. Love all the options for vegan + gluten-free cupcakes, and intriguing flavors like blackberry sage. Friendly and professional staff, too!

This is the second time I have used Sage Cakery (and certainly not the last ) for an event. First was for my baby shower and then this year was for my baby’s first birthday! They made the most beautiful 4in smash cake and cupcakes for her party. Absolutely delicious strawberry flavor cake and icing.

Sage Cakery never disappoints. We already love their cupcakes and cookies, so we knew we had to use them for our anniversary party. We asked for a cake topper that resembled an old tree stump + our carved initials and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Combined with our original wedding cake toppers from 2012, it was perfect. Ally made the process easy and their prices make it easier to stay on budget. Don't go anywhere else!

I ordered a cake for my sister’s birthday and it was beautiful. Sage Cakery does an awesome job!! The customer service was great and their cake (and cupcakes) are awesome. Everyone loved it and we enjoyed every bit!! Thanks Sage!!

My husband and I dropped in on this lovely little place and absolutely fell in love with everything about it! Nikkie and Kurtis are awesome, and man, do they make some delicious cupcakes and other goodies! Urbana needed Sage- we can’t wait to go back!

This is the only bakery in the state of Maryland that you can walk into and purchase a dozen cupcakes 🧁🙃 I called ahead today to see if I could pick up two dozen cupcakes for a birthday and they had plenty in stock ready to box up 📦 what a relief 😅 I called so many other bakeries and they all require orders of a dozen or more to be placed ahead of time — AND Sage is open later than the other bakeries/cafes in the area. The cupcakes were delicious and a hit at the party! 🧁 Thank you!

Our beautiful and tasty wedding cake was made by Sage Cakery! We had a great tasting experience with them. We came running after a planned one gone wrong and they set us up when we arrived. Sage was easy to book and communicate with as the wedding approached to finalize the details. The cake came out exactly as expected and tasted great! I would recommend sage cakery, especially if you have dietary restrictions you want or need to accommodate! We ordered gluten free cupcakes for our guests who would need them. My one regret is not cc'ing my coordinator on my correspondence with them as the added cupcakes to our order were not delivered on the day of our wedding with our cake. We were reimbursed for them in full and were overall satisfied with Sage Cakery!

The best bakery you could ask for on your wedding day! I don't know how they do it but the gluten and dairy free cake (which we needed due to my allergies) was so good people said it was better than the regular! They have the wedding routine down perfectly and know what to recommend depending on your guest count, dietary needs, etc. They also were very accommodating once we realized we would have less guests than originally expected. 10/10 recommend this bakery in general but specifically for weddings as well!

Huge thank you to Sage Cakery for the very tasty and beautiful cupcakes for our granddaughter birthday party. Birthday girl was in chocolate-and-pink sweet heaven as well as all her guests. For the first time ever we ordered on the basis on reviews. So glad we did. Definitely will order from Sage Cakery again.
