Excellent! They serve breakfast all day. Glad we got there when we did as it filled up quickly and there was a wait. Our server checked on us 4 times and brought us free drink refills and even offered us free drinks to go. Our food came within 15 min and was delicious. We got the eggs Benedict and the hamburger steak. Highly recommend!

Big portions, quality food, and reasonable prices keep people coming through the doors here. It was really busy, and we had to wait a bit to get in, but the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast is served all day, and there are many items to choose from. We all enjoyed our meals. I went with chicken and dumplings, and they were delicious.

Hidden gem! Food was fresh and delicious. Eggs made to order and were perfect. Grits were full of flavor. Will definitely be returning.

One of the best breakfast places around! Good portions so it can definitely get you full. It can get crowded inside, it might be because of how the tables are set up so be mindful of others when walking by!

I normally not a sweet breakfast person but I enjoy this meal with my family. Very busy place cus the food is good. Staffs are wonderful and kind. I think I’ll go again, big menu that I want to try. The liver mush sandwich taste amazing!

Hen & Egg in Newton is an amazing spot! They were crowded, but we only waited a few mins for a table. Waitresses were all great - quick & efficient. They even have a coffee bar with espresso drinks, my Hazelnut latte was very good. We both had eggs benedict: mine with lox and my wife had California style. They were both perfect, and the hashbrown casserole was great too. There was about 10 things from the menu we wanted to try: all types of crepes, Monte Cristo, stuffed French toast and lots more. It all looked great as it passed our table to other guests. I give them a definite 5-star rating and worth the drive. We will definitely go back, and often!

OH MY STARS! The food is delicious! I had the french toast with Lemon glaze and berries. My friend got the lemon crepes. Also amazing.
The service was good. Our water and coffee cups stayed full and the empty plates were removed promptly.
Parking: there is a small side lot and parking in front on the street.
The atmosphere is home-town and quaint. Nothing fancy...just really good food.

This place is awesome! We were on a 7 hour drive and stopped at this place for a quick lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by everything. Food taste absolutely delicious for a really really affordable price. Everyone in my group loved their food. I highly recommend baked flounder, rice, and cabbage. Waitress was helpful and pleasant as well.

A mix of old and new. The new being the espresso machine, although I didn't partake in this visit. I went with a traditional Benedict (they have 3 or 4 types) to further test my theory that if a place gets that right, they can do pretty much anything. Other reviewers had some similar thoughts to mine on the physical aspects, so I won't bore you. I sat at the counter/bar, and they seemed to know everyone. It's definitely a locals type spot.

Our food came out super fast which made me uneasy about quality but my goodness these folks delivered on flavor. Our server was attentive without being invasive and I will be back. Not many places around that serve a nice espresso and a crepe.

Delicious food, fast service, with a warm atmosphere. Everything that came out the kitchen looked so good. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu

Absolutely delicious! I got the chorizo bowl and it was fantastic. The chorizo had a little kick to it but tons of flavor! All the flavors of this bowl melded perfectly together for a tantalizing meal! The coffee is above par as well! Some of the best I have ever had. My server was fantastic! Very attentive and friendly service. From the time I ordered my meal to it being placed down in front of me was less than 5 minutes. Very impressive! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

The food was great and was seated right away. Had to wait for my meal. The server took my food to another table. So they made my order over again. Other than that, it was an amazing experience. Will come back again soon. Thank you.

Best eggs Benedict around. Any chance I get I like to go. Which isn't much!! Service is pleasant, food is great! Coffee was good! Hubby got a chicken Philly it was very good too!! I usually only get breakfast, the only thing to make it better would be fried green tomatoes!!

First time here and the food was awesome! Ordered the Piggie Chimi and the stuffed french toast. I rarely eat all of my food in one sitting and I ate my whole plate of the Piggie Chimi along with hashbrowns. Had to save the French toast for later and boy did it hit the spot. Will definitely recommend this place and come back and try other dishes as well. So glad we have a place like this that is local.

The food is amazing! We got the breakfast chimichanga and build your own platter. Generous proportions.Best Breakfast we ever had going out to eat. Ashley was a wonderful waitress! Definitely my to go place for breakfast. Will need to try their lunch next.
