Great place to get groceries at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely come back to shop my groceries here

An unfortunate event took place with my daughter's birthday cake but the lovely ladies at food lion jumped on the issue and made my daughter's birthday the best ever. Thank you to Tammy and all of the ladies that helped me out today you all made her day

Love this Food Lion. The people that work there are like family. They go out of there way to be friendly and helpful. When walk in most of cashiers and other employees say hi and how are you doing? It is like being in a small town where everyone knows everyone!

I got what I needed and left. They were friendly there.

Mgr was awesome!! Elderly lady that lives out of town came to this store and left a bag. Mgmt took care of her immediately!!

Great people, front line folks are fast and friendly. Mangers need to open more registers two lines on a Friday morning give me a break.

Most of all the employees are very nice. It's my neighborhood food lion also never have had a problem there! They usually have everything there supposed to. Unlike Walmart these days and everything is pretty simple to find also hopes this is helpful!

Always clean and l go to this one cause l know where most things are at. If not you just have to ask someone that works there and they can point you in the right direction. Evening l was there a policeman came in and got onto a couple for leaving a dog in the hot car. Someone had called them in and he found the couple. They had the Windows cracked but on hot days you don't need to bring your pets. Please be mindful on these hot days and leave them at home. Thank You, Newton PD for acting on this situation.

Friendly associates and plenty of registers open, clean store! Yay! I'd like to see more vegan choices however.

Although a small store, this is a busy Food Lion as are most rural grocery stores. They do good job of keeping items on the shelves and available. Fresh produce, fairly decent selection of meat, prices are decent. Customer Service is very good, the store is kept clean. There are no long lines when avoidable. I recommend Food Lion of Newton Grove and thank them for their hard work! The store has improved a lot, especially since the remodel. Great job, y'all please keep up the good work!

I Love this store!! It is clean the kids working the registers are informative and competent. The produce is excellent. The bakery is also. Love the prices. Always cheaper than Lowe's Grocery! And comparable to the prices at Walmart. Also I am a coupon user. The store accepts all stores coupons. This my favorite of all places to shop for quality Meats!! I highly recommend this store!

Can't say enough good about food lion huh 16 newton. Good prices, super clean and Sara does a great job in produce. I would give them 6 stars if could.

Friendly helpful staff!! I always enjoy shopping there! Prices and selection are good and the store is always clean and tidy. If the line is long they are always ready to open another register up and will direct you to an open register if one is opening up or has no one in it! I highly recommend shopping here!!!

Food Lion always has something (food) buy one get one free every week. Always some kind of meat (steak, hamburger, pork, chicken) for 2 dollars a pound. The store has always been organized and clean when I have shopped there.
