I stopped by the store to get a pack of cigarettes. I had a digital Marlboro coupon. On Marlboro website will give a list of the convenient stores that accept the digital coupons. The reason I went to the store was bc of that reason. The employee said that Marlboro needs to send a specific scanner to accept the coupon. He tried to scan my phone & said see it won’t work. I have been to numerous other stores that as long as you have picked the correct store they will manually enter it they will be reimbursed for the coupon. I explained this to him & he insisted on that Marlboro has to send a “special” scanner. I told him that I will not be back to his store & all he was worried about was the ppl behind me. I email Marlboro to get a confirmation on whether or not a “special” scanner is needed. I also asked that his store be taken off the list of stores that accept the coupons bc they do not honor the coupons. Also I was getting a small package of rice krispy treat & it was stale. So they do not keep fresh foods.
