Curtis & Sons Plumbing did a fantastic job collaborating with me and my insurance company to carry out repairs on my rental property in Hickory. They interacted professionally with my tenants and did an outstanding job fitting a new water heater after repairing the pipe. Much appreciated. I will definitely enlist their services again. I've been catching their promotions on local radio 93.1. My plumbing system had issues today, so I chose to give Curtis & Sons Plumbing a try. Their technician Jared, a proud father to a charming 6-month-old baby, arrived and was incredibly friendly and meticulous. The system was fixed, but he assured me that if any problems occurred within 30 days, Curtis & Sons Plumbing would return without any extra service charge. Jared was simply fantastic and seemed genuinely concerned, leading me to subscribe to their service plan. They are the fourth plumbing company I've employed in Hickory, and from this point forward, they'll be my go-to for any plumbing needs.

We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday morning, and Cristian arrived to save us! He was right on time for our emergency appointment, was knowledgeable, thorough, and supportive in giving us tips to help prevent future issues. He was also clean and considerate of our space. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

I can’t say enough to express how satisfied I am with Colby. He arrived out the same day job through all different obstacles that came our way & did an amazing job. Other companies wouldn’t even give me the time of day. I wish I would have called him first. I will next time.

Plumber Gerald was professional and He was diligent in fixing a difficult plumbing issue. Once the issue was solved, he thoroughly cleaned up the task areas. The price was less than anticipated too. I endorse Home Angels!

The work was above exceptional. Communication with office staff was great, they let me know, within an hour, when the repairman would arrive. All work was well done in one day. The price was reasonable. I've used this company before and they always do quality work.

Tyler and Silas corrected a leaky pipe that was causing us to be without water for over a week. They did such a good job. I am super glad with them. I’d certainly endorse them for all your plumbing needs. The price was close to the best in the area and, this service and quality was fantastic.

Had the 100ish year old main valve removed and replaced with a modern ball valve, did a super neat and sturdy installation in a timely manner. Alejandro Also replaced the outside faucet and it’s a super clean install. This company is rock solid.

Had a good experience with this company. Had some heat pump concerns and Terry L. arrived out. He was on time, and professional, and answered all my questions. Would use again!

When I call this number on 10/17/2023 it sends me to an answering service and then sends me to RotoRooter. I assume Curtis and Sons Plumbing is no longer in business.

I am a rental property owner who got completely ripped off by this company. I am warning you, that whatever you do, do not use them. Let my mistake and misfortune save you. That is the only thing positive that could come out of this experience.

A property I own suffered a water main leak and I called around several places. They were the first to answer. The initial red flag should have been the phone procedure. An "operator" answered first and asked if I had a plumbing problem, I replied to the affirmative, and he said let me connect you to a technician. Strange. Technician is some old guy who sounds like he can barely talk. Asked what the problem is and asked for the address. Says he'll make it out around 3, but asked me to text photos to another phone number and proceeds to use that number for all additional contact. He arrives and calls me to tell me what a serious problem I have. Multiple leaks, no point trying to fix them, need a new water line to the tune of 5k. Obviously, a shock, but I agree because my priority are the tenants with no water. He promises to make it out the next day and does call that morning to collect $2500 for materials via a square invoice. I agree, but find it strange that the invoice is from JB Plumbing Solutions and not Curtis and Sons. Okay, should have known better, but I was in a bind. I pay it. Afterwards he informs me he has to rent a ditch witch and he'll be out there. Red flag number, well I've lost count, yes I'm an idiot, but red flag number 20, what kind of plumbing company doesn't own a ditch witch? This guy didn't, and according to him, no tool rental place around had one. This went on all day until he finally said he was going to fix the leaks and show up the next day to do the water main. Call the next morning, no answer, text, no reply. After several hours I call Curtis and Son's and get the old man who proceeds to tell me they work with multiple sub contractors and that he would have this guy call me. Never heard a word. Called Curtis and Sons back and get hung up on after three words. Never heard another word from either one. What they did was criminal. It was abusive, and I urge you to find someone else. Please do not use these crooks. They should be prosecuted. I serve an awesome Lord and I don't have to take revenge on these folks, Karma, the world will handle that, but I can help warn others.
