Although difficult to deal with nit pickiness of inspectors, the inspections are there to assure the contractors are doing the right job to homeowners.

I've went in person 3 times and each time the representative was extremely helpful in telling me the next steps and what forms. Even let me change my forms after the fact.

I am impressed with Catawba County Website. The manager is making
access and information very available. I have not seen any government
site as clearly labeled and well directed to each subsection.
Congratulations to the person or team who do this website! WOW.

A good place to go get a permit or whatever you need

Great to work with just follow the rules simple

Call after call, leaving message after message. Nobody answers, nobody calls back. Does anyone really work here? Does this department exist? How many taxes am I paying for this lack of service? Not very professional in my opinion. Wake up Catawba County!

Very rude people. Don't even want to answer questions and help you to understand the permit process. City of Hickory has a much better class of people working there that want to help.
