Barringer Moving & Storage

Certainly the best experience with a moving company I have ever had. Communication at all steps was excellent. We had a lot of antique furniture to move, and Dakota, Josh, and Pete took extra good care of our possessions. Teamwork perhaps falls short of describing how well these guys worked together, and they were personable as well. We actually had deliveries to two different locations, and everything went very smoothly. If there was a high point to this particular move, Barringer provided it. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience using Barringer for my moving needs. Everyone was super friendly and professional. They're were no hiccups of any kind with the move, and the cost was so reasonable and well worth every penny!

I was referred to Barringer Moving Company from my niece's extended family since she knew Isaac. I called and requested to have them see if they could move me in the time frame I needed.
Barringer sent someone to come out on a Thursday and gave me a quote. After I decided to take their offer, I called Friday & left a message of accepting their offer & to see if I could request Isaac's team & for them to come on Tuesday.
Isaac, Manny & Casey came promptly & ready to start my move. I was moving from Conover to Hickory and was already nervous about the change because I've lived in the same house for 16 years.
I had my house packed up & ready for them to move & I had my sister there to help me direct them where to put my items once we got to the new house.
This was the most stress free moving I've ever had. We only had a hick up because my china cabinet was too tall for my new place. So, in actuality, there were no issues at all from Isaac's team. They handle everything with care & and respect. They were polite and joked around to make the experience more enjoyable. They had no issues with changes if something came up.
I would recommend all 3 of those gentlemen to anyone. They make a GREAT TEAM!!

Dakota led a 4 man team moving 2 @ 16 foot pods and 1 @ 26 foot box truck for us. From the initial meet and greet to the final handshake the process was well supervised and everyone stayed after it. All of the guys were professional, very polite and extremely gentle with our furniture and boxes. I have had many moves and this experience was, by far, the best managed event.
Highly recommend the Barringer team and will use them again.

Absolutely the best moving experience in my life (...and I'm 73 years old!). Barringer Moving is professional, very responsive, courteous, on time. They maintained email, voice and text contact throughout the process. They found a small bed frame wheel in the truck the day after delivery, informed me of this and delivered the wheel to my house within hours. Great attention to detail! They were very professional asking questions on different boxes and explaining what and why they did different things to get our household items, safe to are new home, a great company and crew.

The team at Barringer set a new level in customer service. From the first appointment through delivery, the moving team was friendly, courteous, professional, and very, very careful. No damage in the move. They landed in my Hickory apartment at 8:50 AM and I was in my new apartment in Durham by 2:30 PM. A pleasure to watch. Great care was taken with all items, and everything was wrapped before loading. Truly a great experience by a first class team. Highly Recommended!

My family and I have used Barringer Moving and Storage several times in the last few
years. If it sounds like I'm gushing, well, I am. Everyone at Barringer is wonderful, from the owners to the office folks to the warehouse personel, and especially the guys who do the hard task of moving all the household items. They are all polite, courteous, and get the job done in a timely, professional manner. Do not hesitate to hire Barringer for your next move - you won't be disappointed.

Barringer has helped us move 3 times in the past several years. Chris has a wonderful group of employees. They are always professional, helpful, and courteous. They are very careful with your items and respectful. I watched them move our grandfather clock and they knew exactly how to dismantle it and put it back. I hope this is our forever home, but if we need to move again, I could never consider anyone else. Please tip the movers good, they deserve it!

Recently, September 2022, Barringer brought our things to our new home after being in storage 2 and a half years. The gentlemen who unloaded us, Sean (or Shawn), Clifton, Charles, Dakota all worked hard to get our furniture and boxes unloaded without hurting anything. They were hard working, thorough and had cheerful dispositions. They worked with us, listened to us, and everything was handled well. We have been amazed at what great condition everything has been in as we get settled. We thought we would have the wash our clothes, but they came out just as fresh as they went in---we only needed to hang them up and let them air a bit. The storage in their climate controlled warehouse is certainly worth it. Plus, the folks in the office, Keith and Melissa have worked with us over these few years and they could not have been nicer. I highly recommend Barringer!

We used Barringer to move us out of state. We had seen their trucks and liked their motto and our neighbor worked for them for several years. We were very pleased with the entire process from meeting Chris for our quote on the move, to the scheduling, the fair value quote, to the packing, loading and delivery. We moved to a high rise home with multiple floors and windy narrow stairs and they did a great job. The entire four man crew was fantastic and very careful with our furniture. We plan on using them again and recommend them highly.

I used Barringer Moving to move my parents and they stored my parents belongings. They were absolutely fantastic! We had to make multiple moves within a week and Barringer movers arrived on time every time! The movers were so helpful and pleasant and professional. We had Dalvin, AJ and Tyler, these guys were great, if ya can, request this team! Keith is super helpful in the office too. They definitely deserve 5 stars!

Barringer Moving was the best moving company we have ever experienced. Tyler, Octavius, and James were exceptional. They were very professional, friendly, and wrapped all the furniture extremely well. Nothing was broken or scratched. They worked quickly packing and unpacking. My realtor recommended Barringer for moving and storing. They stored my furniture and household items for 6 months and when I was ready to have the furniture delivered they did that as well. It's bad enough to move but Barringer's made it so easy. The guys were on time and very nice. They worked as the ultimate team and in no time our storage units were empty. When we got to our brand new home the movers were very careful with the floors and the walls when moving heavy furniture. They even put together our beds and anything else that needed assembly. Super impressed and because we are in a new neighborhood we have recommended Barringer's to everyone moving in to the subdivision.
