Clean store, well stocked and doing their best to keep combatting the ever so killing inflation rise we feel in our pocket books every day.
While Looking for the best value in the meat dept, James K assisted me in the needs I had on my wife’s grocery list, helped me find all the products that I had difficulty locating, and was the best representation of good service I have had in a VERY long time! Thanks James K for the help and made our family’s get together to be a success!

I enjoy shopping at this Wal-Mart. It's always clean, orderly, and fairly well stocked most of the time. The workers are friendly. Pharmacy staff work well together keeping line down and moving. I would recommend this walmart store. One of the nicest ones.

One thing that I like about shopping at Wal-Mart is that it's always busy and people are everywhere, but I can still browse around the store without getting in anybody's way. The flow of traffic is surprising smooth and props to all the employees for keeping up with the customers and keeping the store nice and organized.

This is a very large Walmart and grocery with a slightly unique layout. Very well stocked and orderly. A wide variety of items were available. We found almost everything we needed in just one visit. I would recommend this location to others. If you are a Sam's Club member there is a gas station in the Walmart parking lot.

I arrived at exactly 10pm and pickup stopped at ten! The girl at self checkout called her manager for me and the manager herself went and grabbed my order for me! Top notch service

You know, it used to be that the employees at Walmart had such a good attitude when they saw a customer walk in, you would be greeted with a smile and an excellent greeting. But now I wonder why it's not happening anymore? That's a question for management. I mean, the employees need to be respected and appreciated for what they do. Don't get me wrong, a managers job is a lot, and I get it. But you get respect when you give it to them. They bust their butts to make sure their are no outs, keeping the place clean, and so on. When I worked there for 4 years I saw managers come and go. But the ones who really cared about the employees didn't get the appreciation they needed and left. Then we got managers that just cared about the almighty dollar. Man, if you want the job done, appreciate them, and they will appreciate you, positive works. It used to be that we pushed together that bonus with our pay, but man, I get it now. Too bad Sam Walton isn't around, he would straighten people up.

It always easy to complain and leave a bad review. When someone does exceptionally well we need to praise them. My hats off to Mandy at the front end

I am disabled and a staff member went out of their way to help me at check out. What a blessing! They aren't so helpful in the BIG city's. Happy to have a new Wal-Mart. Thanks!

Good place to go to for a wide variety of products and to experience affordable shopping. Walmart has good people who work there who can help you locate the items you need.

Hate Lincolnton being followed every time like a criminal is rediculas. I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING THERE! Denver Newton, conover Gastonia. Any place other than Lincolnton nc

Always helpful & friendly staff. The lines at checkout aren't too long. And there's plenty of variety to choose from both in the regular section & grocery section. Good prices, of course.

I prefer to go to the Walmart grocery store on 321 in Newton only because they have what I need. They don't stock the shelves enough or fast enough at this particular super Walmart

I want to give a special shout out to Walmart associate, Jay at store#948 at the Hwy 70 location, Hickory, NC. Jay is very professional, and kind. I had difficulty loading gift cards at checkout. Jay took the time to assist me in getting the gift cards loaded. It is great to know that excellent customer service still exists - and, associates like Jay make all of the difference! Thank you Jay, keep up the great work!

I only give 5 stars because I left my wallet in the front of the shopping cart Saturday night. No one would help me try to find someone to help me locate it. I tried speaking to a manager and other workers and they just said I’d have to come back tomorrow. No one was helpful but one person named Dakota. He set aside his work to help me locate my wallet which he did. I am so thankful for this person because it literally had my life in it. He was super helpful and I am beyond thankful 🙏.This guy definitely deserves props for going above and beyond!!!

Buy groceries all the time there. Check out is simple. The check out people are friendly.
