Conley House Vacation Rental - Western North Carolina

Where do we begin? This mountain hide-a-way is truly an architectural delight, tastefully decorated in an easy, modern mid-century mode. The chef's kitchen was perfectly outfitted with everything anyone might need to create an appetizer or a feast! Nothing was missing - including the coffee grinder and the French press! The king-size bed in the master bedroom was amazingly comfortable - oooolala - it floated us away every night. The Jacuzzi tub came complete with big fat towels, bath salts and essential oils - peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender - to soothe your body and mind. The VIEWS of the mountains from the floor-to-ceiling windows were just incredible and we watched sunrises, sunsets, changing clouds and colors from morning 'til night. We snuggled up to the gas fireplace every evening while enjoying (many) glasses of wine. Although it was "off-season" (Jan.) we were able to visit the studios of several local artists. We met some super-great people and purchased some lovely pieces of pottery, too! The Conley House is more than just a VRBO - for us it is a very special place, a serene "temple" tucked away in the mountains where you can relax, recharge, enjoy - and get back in touch with yourself. Owners Lisa and Rick take great care of their guests to ensure they have a wonderful experience. Thank you so much again - many smiles and we hope to return soon!

The all-round best cabin my family has ever rented. The owner's attention to detail is excellent, and the entire cabin is well appointed. You will not find a cabin in the North Carolina mountains with a better view. Period. It is relatively secluded and very quiet. Convenient to Burnsville, Bakersville, and Spruce Pine. Only an hour from Asheville. We will definitely be returning to this cabin.
