Little Gus Cafe

This became our favorite breakfast place in our very first visit. Very friendly staff, neighborhood diner feeling and really good food. Loved the omelette, gyro and coffee. Service was quick. Also met with the wonderful owner & the nephew who have been running the place for 20 yrs. Definitely recommended 👍

We went here on a whim after visiting the dentist and were pleasantly surprised by both the atmosphere and the service. The food was great also. It’s basically a diner, but the staff made us feel at home and I really liked the decor. This will now be our go to place for after-dentist visits

If you are looking for a home cooked style breakfast this is the place! However that is not the most impressive thing about this restaurant. The ladies who work front of the house are amazing! I took my daughter this morning after spending all night in the ER and the ladies were patient and kind with her the entire time we were dining in!

Fantastic local diner. SUPER friendly service gives this Plano staple the feel of a small town diner. Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend Little Gus. And yes, Gus is there and he is on the shorter side, hence the name.

So pleased I found this spot, thanks to other Google Reviewers, as it was a perfect spot to grab breakfast on an out of town workday.

All the breakfast was delicious; however, the potatoes were incredible!!! Order extra, simply to save you time, because you'll want more.

I sat at the counter and Susie was delightful to talk to. I even had the opportunity to witness her & Gus engaging in a little energetic conversation about who's kitchen it is. It was fun!

Check it out for sure and loved seeing the "regs" strolling in. Was waiting to hear "Norm!" When someone walked in.

I loved their gyro meat! So tasty! Never had it for breakfast till I came here. I might almost pick it over bacon!

We came here to grab lunch, my husband got their falafel sandwich and I got the tuna salad plate. We both enjoyed our food a lot, I highly recommend it. The falafel is made with a mix of chick peas and fava beans which is really great and moist (not dry as the chick pea only ones are). The service was awesome, we briefly spoke to Gus, the owner, and the lady (I didn’t catch her name) at the front. Both are amazing people and we were very happy with the food. Highly recommend!

The waitress Nina was the only waitress there was 10 tables and she didn’t miss a beat. Nobody was ever waiting she was on all tables consistently and fast ! When we were checking out we met the owner Gus such a nice man! The food was great and came out fast. The ocean and beach theme inside was def my favorite :)

Found this place today and wish I would've found it sooner. The food was great and the waitress was so nice. An awesome local spot!

The Mexican and the Spanish omelettes with tortillas were delicious. Staff is attentive and juggling 100 things at once. Food came out quick.

We came in with a party of 18 and were accommodated immediately. Our waitress was amazing! Our orders were taken and paid with ease. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Gus went out of his way to get me some food right as they were closing (it was my first visit and I didn't realize I was there at quitting time). The food was fantastic, but how great is customer service like that?

Excellent mom and pop eatery with a good selection of standard American cuisines including burgers, fries, pizzas and other favorites. I especially like the different breakfast varieties, which are served all day! Portions are generous and hearty, attentive service and reasonable price points. Very family friendly with diverse customers from lone wolves to groupies and parents with 😱 rugrats in tow:)

Great little brunch spot.. been going for a few years now. Service is always wonderful, food is great. Always treated like family

Finally we got back for a lunch on Sat. I think we were last here in 2015. Along with a crowd of boys from youth soccer team. They were loud and hungry. We got the Sat lunch special of sandwich and lentil soup. Excellent food and service. Should get back here more often but a lot of competition for share of our stomach in Collin county.

Found this little gem of a breakfast place when visiting Plano Texas.
They were very, very welcoming. The food was delicious. The ladies. I forget their names. Maybe Nina. They are just awesome, friendly waitresses and it was so good. I took my family back the next day. Highly recommend
