ABCD Pediatrics Boerne

I have had problems in the past with trying to get a sick child in to see their doctor which ended in expensive urgent care visits, but yesterday I was more than surprised when I called and they were able to get us in that day. I am excited that the office is perfectly back on the right track. Dr. Nelson was absolutely fabulous with my daughter too- would def recommend him! Thank you so much ABCD!

The office is super clean, front desk staff are super nice and don’t act like they hate their jobs!
The same can be said to the medical assistants and nurses. We saw Dr Nelson and he did not make us feel like we were just another patient being shuttled through an office like cattle. Would def recommend this office to anyone and everyone!

The nurses and physicians are so consistently sweet, nurturing, knowledgeable and helpful - from answering our (many) silly questions to helping us navigate serious ailments, they have never wavered on professionalism and quality care. We’ve been coming to this practice since we moved to Boerne in April 2021 and wouldn’t dream of leaving or seeking another provider. They have implemented several technical upgrades making communicating and scheduling appointments much easier + checking in and submitting payments much easier too. We are thankful for their thoughtful care of our two babies and we look forward to many more years working with this group!

ABCD Pediatrics is the best in Pediatrics care. We took our 3 week old in for her first appointment after being discharged from the NICU, and everyone was amazing. The staff was so sweet and knowledgeable. Thank you all for taking care of my baby girl.

Transferred to this location from a different area and love it. Everyone is so sweet and attentive. The appointments run smoothly and I feel heard. The provider always makes sure to go over any questions or information necessary!

Greeted as soon as you walkin, service is excellent. The nurses and doctors are really nice and attenative to your wants and needs. Dr. Gravel makes the kids feel comfortable be she starts her exam.

Dr Nelson is fantastic. He took plenty of time with us and was able to answer all of the questions we had as first time parents. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

Wonderful staff, fantastic & friendly Doctors. The Doctors and nurses have even gone out of their way to be accommodating on numerous occasions for our family, and we feel fortunate & very grateful to have ABCD in Boerne!

We are happy with the friendliness of the staff and professionalism of our nurse and Dr. We may have gotten lucky with our appointment time, we were in and out in less than 40 mins for your basic check up!! We have a child on the Spectrum and they treated her nicely and we’re able to work with her without upsetting her.

Dr Gravel is always amazing! She takes her time and answers all of our questions and asks questions we didn’t even think about! She is an awesome doctor! The staff are wonderful as well!

We took our baby for 2 months vaccinations at ABCD and had an outstanding experience. They were busy and we had to wait 20 minutes but the front desk girl was super apologetic which we appreciated. Highlights:-
1. Dr. Nelson was outstanding. He examined our 2 months baby thoroughly, gave us all the answers and was very humble.
2. Michelle, our nurse was very friendly, professional and humble. She made us feel comfortable.
3. Facility was easy to locate and very clean.
4. We will go there again.

Son woke up sick and we called and got in for sick visit quickly. Office was very friendly and efficient, Dr. Wood was very thorough and explained to my son what was important to do to get better. Did not take long and meds were prescribed.

We have been with ABCD since before the move to their new location, and we have always loved Dr Wood and how great she is with our three kiddos. But I must say the new facility, digital records/check in process, ability to get sick visits, and communication have improved drastically since the move! So pleased and feel confident with our decision to have our kids cared for at ABCD!

I cannot express how thankful I am for the numerous good experiences my family has had with ABCD. The providers are beyond excellent. We primarily see Dr. Gravel and she is fantastic with my little one. They always listen to the full "mom rant" about what is happening and really engage with and make sure my toddler is comfortable. In addition to excellent doctors, the nurses and office staff are incredible. These folks truly make or break an experience, and I can tell ABCD was very thoughtful about their hiring choices. Everyone is helpful and sweet and make tough days easier on us.

Recently, I'd give a huge shoutout to their referral coordinator, Stacy (apologies if I misspelled that name). We've had an atrocious experience with an ENT in SA, and she worked so hard all day to be in my corner and find a solution for my family. She called numerous offices, did a lot of research, expedited paperwork with insurance and called me personally to keep me updated. Overall just a WOW moment. Went way beyond what would normally be expected and it made a huge impact for me. Thank you so much!

Dr. Woods was very attentive and sweet to my daughter while we came in for a sick visit. She talked us through all scenarios of what could be wrong! We love Dr. Woods!

Dr. Nelson and his staff always go above and beyond for our 3 boys! I can’t thank them enough for all that they have done!! I couldn’t not recommend them enough!!

The whole experience was awesome!! The process from online appointment to check-in/checkout to staff to my son’s pediatrician was excellent!! Everyone was efficient, knowledgeable and professional!! Very grateful and appreciative for everyone there. Highly recommend this business!!

We’ve been with ABCD for 4 years and 3 kids. Went through a bit of a rough patch when they were switching companies but we stuck by them because we love Dr. Gravel and the staff(especially Ms.Gina the office manager). I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else.
