They had an upbeat disposition in handling someone that was no longer a customer, and was only a customer for a short time. They handled my call professionally. Now when they complete the process I'll rate them a 5 Star.

I've had Apparent Insurance since 2020 and never had any issues....because I've never had a crash or needed roadside assistance.

This week I needed a car jump and called Apparent Insurance and was quickly redirected to Roadside Assistance. I found the link they sent helpful as you could track the time and location of the service provider who was coming out to me.

The issue; I was quoted a 60-90 minute wait time but it ended up taking 3+ hrs.

The car jump took less than 5 minutes but then I got a message from the provider asking why I gave them one star and also a message from Roadside Service asking if I wanted to tip them lol 🤣

If an insurance company provides free roadside assistance then the impetus is on THEM to be sure that they have contracted the appropriate amount of service providers and to take ownership of how the situation was handled.

I wanted to use a local insurance provider like Apparent but if something as simple as a car jump is hard to get assistance for, then I can't imagine what it would be like if I got into a collision.

I also was unaware that their email address says "ELEPHANT car insurance" until I got a follow up survey from Apparent 🤣

Policy was cancelled and then I get a notification that they have taken 235 out of my account. I already having hardship and this company has made it worst by taking money that I did not give them to take. They got their money but I can't feed my kids...

Apparent Insurance loves to talk about how they have your back and are “one of us”, but they absolutely do not stand by that. During COVID when I was a brand new mother of twins we had to decide to between lights and paying car insurance.. of course we chose lights. The $146 went to collections, which I understand. I did the right thing once we were back on our feet and paid my collection. Now apparent is refusing to take the collections off my credit. They are choosing to ruin our credit over $146 during the hardship that we all faced of the pandemic. Do not pay your collects with them, they PUNISH you for doing the right thing

After being 2 weeks late on my payment they sent me a letter saying they canceled my policy, and then sent me a bill for 40$, which is now impacting my credit. I paid them literally thousands and never had a claim...

Fake company. Shell company!
