Fourth Ave Birkenstock

Wow, i had the footbed on my birks replaced as the cork was cracking (just kept the straps) and I now have a great pair of brand new looking sandals! This is amazing!! Thank you 4th Ave Birkenstock!!

Fourth Ave Birkenstock is one of the FEW old school Birkenstock boho ‘brick and mortar’ cobbler stores around… Thank You Ann Arbor for continuing to support this fine business and repair shop. Just got two pairs of Birkies back from 4thAve, what a great job! The resolve on my Mayari looks excellent and the remanufacture of my old beat down Como’s turned out beautifully. They are a new pair of sandals again. Many thanks to Gene and all the wonderful folks at 4th Avenue Birkenstock!

Got my first pair of Birkenstocks today. Paul was an absolute pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable about his products and helpful in finding my fit. I'd highly recommend getting a pair. Can't wait to break them in!

Nothing but positive experiences here! Ordered one pair of Birkenstock Bostons and they came within 2 days! Ordered another pair and accidentally sent it to the wrong address and called them and they fixed it immediately with so much kindness! Unfortunately they called and said my item was out of stock and I said no problem. They said they would put me on the notification list if they got some in stock. The next day they got them in stock and they called me to inform me and we got them ordered! Each employee that I spoke to had so much kindness and patience! Paul is the one name I remember and there was another employee that helped me! Thank you so much! I usually don’t make reviews bud seriously, this is by far the best company that I have ever worked with! I will be returning to this store in the future and most likely in person too!

Amazing place! Paul was so nice helping me pick out my first pair of Birkenstocks. He walked me through many different styles, colors, and even sizing options! I’m so pleased with the experience and will definitely be back in the future.

We came in unknowingly a few minutes before they closed Sunday, the staff were kind in letting us know. We quickly let them know we had a very specific mission, just to try on a size. We were handed the size we were after, from a 50% off selection and left with those on our feet! Great experience. Will be back.❤

Great shopping experience - the sales associate who helped us was knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to make sure we had the correct sizes and tried a variety of styles. We went on a Friday afternoon and the store was busy, but the staff were efficient to help everyone without making us feel rushed.

Love this shop. Very honest and accommodating. I have owned Birkenstock sandals for YEARS and routinely switch out summer styles. I had destroyed my previous pair beyond repair, bought a new pair, returned them a day later, tried on even more pairs I didn’t think would work and ultimately left very happy with the pair I selected. Also, had my husbands cork resealed and soles replaced, which while expensive gets him a few more years out of the same pair.

Such a wonderful store! Helpful and friendly staff. They make sure you get the proper fitting footwear. Great selection, and they’ll order your size/color if they’re out of stock. Overall it’s a great experience!

I had been thinking about getting a pair of Birkenstock’s for awhile, but wanted to try on a pair before making a purchase. For my birthday this year I stopped by 4th Ave Birkenstock and had a pleasant experience trying on different sandals. I’m glad I went in, because what I thought I wanted actually didn’t work out for me. The store employee was super helpful and gave me a lot of great information. I have been enjoying wearing my new shoes and I plan to get future repairs done at this store.

I stopped by Fourth Ave Birkenstock to get fit for my first pair of Birkenstocks and man was I glad I did. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very accommodating! Small businesses that are family owned like this are tough to find these days. I live about 1.5 hours away but will be sending everyone looking for new sandals their way! Well worth the trip!!!

Customer service was great. I called about a return I needed to do and the nicest person walked me through the process. They’ve certainly gained my business in the future.
