Exceptional care! Beyond satisfied with the care from Dr. Mcgrail and her staff. Was very thorough with our dog who was misdiagnosed elsewhere. We are so happy to have found York Animal Hospital. We've been seeing improvements with our little fur friend within 24 hours of visiting the clinic. The medical staff is extremely educated and you don't feel rushed at all! 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful doctors and staff..even with the difficult pups ( mine was not having a happy day after her rabies shot) The office is clean and comfortable and they explain everything thoroughly. Prices are reasonable too. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

We absolutely love taking our two labs here. The front desk people are always friendly and helpful. The vets are thorough and caring; they take time to explain the treatment plan and answer any wacky questions we have. They're always so accommodating; they've been able to squeeze our girls in same day if needed.

This animal hospital is kind and compassionate. The care of your favorite furry friends is top priority. I was explained everything about what was happening with my little friend. I understood the process and what was going on. The health and safety of my pet means everything to me and the staff understands that their outstanding caring and informative. I highly recommended this place to anyone with a best friend with 4 legs.

We've been taking our cats here since 2012 when we adopted our first kitty. We weren't sure what to expect when Dr. Ross left a few years ago, but Dr. Bill and Dr. Barb are amazing! We have a big, feisty, tuxedo cat who can be difficult to manage. Ok, he's a pain, but the vet techs and vets go above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience for everyone! They also follow all COVID procedures well. Thank you for keeping us all safe!

I cannot say how much I appreciate Dr. Barb and her staff.
I am from out of state and our dog had a breathing emergency.
The office allowed us to come immediately and addressed her issues with concerned and caring demeanour..
We were met in the parking lot and my Gracie was taken directly into the triage unit and placed in oxygen area . I’ve fluids were administered also and xrays taken for a diagnosis.
Constant updates were provided to us.. I would be SO VERY COMFORTABLE recommending this facility to anyone looking for a competent, caring, professional veterinarian .

Very positive experience for a number of years now. From our beloved 28 year old cat, to the new stray cat we picked up , to our rescue dog that just joined our family. The team at this Animal Hospital cares deeply about the pets and owners. Attentive, highly in-tune with pets, extremely knowledgeable.

Eli blew out his knee and it was suggested that I go there and have the visiting surgeon, Dr Clark, do the surgery. I was so reluctant to go to a new vet that I never met and a traveling surgeon. I made an appointment prior to scheduling the surgery to meet with Dr Bill and have him look at Eli, who is 14 yrs old. Needless to say, I was terrified for Eli based on his age alone to undergo any type of surgery. I cannot express the relief I felt after meeting Dr Bill and having him examine Eli, do bloodwork and then discuss a plan. He truly calmed my fears. He is very kind and compassionate with the animals and their parents. I can't thank him enough. Eli now has a new vet. I would also like to mention how kind and caring the staff is. They too were very patient and understanding with me. I never did get to meet Dr Clark. I did look up his credentials and they were very impressive. I would like to say he did a phenomenal job on Eli's leg and added to his quality of life. The after care was also top notch. So thank you, one and all for all you've done. I highly recommend this establishment for any of your veterinarian needs.

Had to bring our kitten in for a fall that resulted in a gash on her backside. They fit us in right away, took great care of our girl and even squeezed her into emergency surgery right away. Couldn't have asked for better care. We will be back and will bring our dog there as well. Highly recommend to anyone in search of a new veterinarian

My small 14 pound dog had knee surgery (patella luxation) last summer and he is 100% back to normal and the happiest pup he could be! Amazing staff, kept me calm and informed, and excellent surgeon. Highly recommend!!!

We have been taking our cats here for about five years now. Dr Bill Walak is great with our cats and with communicating with us. We appreciate that he, his wife who is also a veterinarian, and his staff are operating with curbside drop off and pickup for our pets with a phone call to discuss treatment options after examination during these covid-19 times.

Very nice cordial people. Their drive up service was great! Park in the designated area, call/text their posted phone number and they come to you. Works great!

Dr Bill is top notch.. Smart, compassionate, takes great care of my pups. Clean and well run.
