Shawn Lafferty the Respiratory tech, was amazing he explained everything. Answered all my questions . I've been a Cpap user for 14 years and thought I knew everything but I learned a lot from him. I had used another medical supply company before and I did not get the service or time or additional education that I recieved from Black Bear Medical

I highly recommend this company for any of your medical supplied .

Incredibly Caring & Responsive
My wife needed a new wheelchair, and due to her condition it required customizations to support her posture. Tom and Cindy have been wonderful to work with, from designing the chair, to working through the insurance issues and service when we've had minor issues.

Excellent driver kept me informed as to when he was coming and arrived on time. Very polite and very efficient. Great service.

Great experience, super helpful, informative and very supportive of the CPAP therapy.

I’m guessing most of the negative reviews had to do with supply chain issues. Need a certain type of Walker for my mother. Barbara was a dream to work with and even set aside what I needed so it wouldn’t be sold before I could get there. Will be using them again in the future

I have had an excellent experience with Black Bear. I had to return a few times to dial in the perfect cpap mask for me. Shawn (their respiratory therapist) has been fantastic. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable and able to get me in on short notice. I have zero complaints at all with any of my experience there.

My first impression was five stars. Ronda Cash greeted me and asked if she could help me. She explained the process of purchasing a rollator in detail, and then I tested the products in stock. She answered all my questions, and I left confidant that my mobility needs will be addressed promptly. I am thrilled I chose Black Bear Medical.

Absolutely the best customer service! From the moment I made my first inquiry call through getting my Mom out of the hospital and set up at home. Every point of contact was professional but most of all kind and caring.
Even the discharge coordinator at York Hospital was impressed!

They are so helpful, timely, friendly, efficient and generally wonderful that even I have run out of superlatives. I am in the process of getting a new power wheelchair and they have been so helpful and knowledgeable. I've told so many people in the same situation about them and they have changed more than a few lives since then. Thank you everyone from Greenland NH Black Bear. Your are great!!

I really apreciated my experience with this company. My insurence and situation was a bit tricky because I have a medical condition often misunderstood. I needed a ridgid Ti Lite ZRA (custom made to fit me) and, at the time I had a foldable black cheap wheelchair that made independance of any sort a huge issue. I had a lot of worry because although I had a doctor's script I worried I would not get what I needed. Each person was endlessly patient despite my daily calls asking if my chair was in. They worked with everyone on my medical team and, really I cannot say enough good about how apreciative I am with the effort put into finding the exact right fit and the effort to track my chair that the secretary took when she didn't need to. Good communication!
I wanted to add more to my review here. A year later they are still Awesome of a company. They tuned my chair up (a Ti ZRA) and, I needed a versa frame for my bathroom, grab bar, shower transfer bench. The workman, who installs really takes his time to make sure everything is PERFECT he is very detail orientated to the needs of me as the client. Turns out my chair was in good shape and, he was able to teach me more about how to properly maintain it as spring arived, I am now able to take my Ti ZRA out with my dog for a half-mile thanks to the wonderful products of blackbear in greenland NH. I do not know what I would do without them. Seriously, it doesn't get better than this company, high quality products, good knowlegeable staff and, the ability to have some of my independance back. Thanks everyone!

i generally don't write reviews, but, i had a bit of an emergency today.... all of the people at Black Bear were very polite, professional and accommodating in solving my problem. they helped me in working with my pcp & my insurance to get the job done. thank you Black Bear.

Would not recommend. They sent me the wrong supplies for my cpap machine. I have called several times. Still haven’t sent me the correct supplies or a mailing label to return the sent items. Talking to a representative seems to make no difference at all. I’m months overdue for supplies.

Not a good experience - my 86 year old father needed a new wheelchair - his is not working properly. The branch manager ( super nice) came to the house and measured for a new one at the beginning of July and said it should be 6 weeks or so. That date comes and goes - not a word. Finally 2 months in, my dad calls to ask what the status is and they hadn’t even ordered it. Needed insurance info - but they didn’t feel the need to call and ask if they didn’t have it ? I never leave reviews - but this is my fourth time this week trying to call and I just hung up after 35 minutes on hold. Not counting the first call I held for 6 minutes and selected the “leave a message” option which promptly said “mailbox is full- goodbye “. Not impressed in the least. And my dad still doesn’t have his new wheelchair. Do better.
