Footprints Shoe Store | Downtown Ann Arbor

Had a shoe emergency in the middle of the day and called the store to see what the store had in stock for black flats. Although the exact brand I was thinking of was not available, when I arrived the sales associate had pulled several alternative styles for me, which was incredibly helpful! I was able to make a quick purchase and get back to work, crisis averted. I am very happy with the shoes I purchased, super high quality that will hopefully last me a long time.

I was visiting Ann Arbor and in desperate need of some waterproof shoes so stumbled into this store. I was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what I needed. I expected to go home and find the same shoes online for much cheaper and instead found that I got the best price around. The staff was great!

Stopped in on Saturday because my flip flops were dying and I’d been eyeing Birkenstocks for a while. The staff was able to immediately grab a pair for me in the correct size, oiled the leather for me since I was going to wear them out in the rain and tossed the box and my old flip flops for me! Very excellent service and kind staff and I love my new shoes!!

Excellent customer service! I called to check availability of a Birkenstock and the man on the phone was so pleasant, quick and helpful. I don’t live far but not close enough to run there to pick up the shoes quickly, but wanted to buy them locally, so they are shipping the shoes to me right away. Thanks!

We liked this store a lot the first time we went there (about six years ago) and the Birkenstock chef shoes we bought there held up for a long time. However, last time we went in the employee there was unable to help us. They didn't have the chef shoes anymore and wouldn't order them for us when we asked. We were able to get a recommendation for somewhere that turned out even better to buy them, but it was disappointing.

I've shopped here the past decade. The staff had always been helpful. The shoes collections are great. They were my go-to shoes store. However, they are not the same anymore. The staff are irritable and not very helpful. They acted annoyed when I asked to get a size up, when I had only tired one size prior.

Staff were very rude when I wanted to return a pair of boots.
