Casey's Tavern

Casey's has been original in Ann Arbor since 1986 and my first time trying it was this year. It is a smaller place but not too small, it has a unique layout and a decent sized bar. They ask you when you come in if your going to get alcohol so they can 🆔 you. The service was quick/efficient and all the staff was very friendly. Your going to pay 10-20 per person but it is reasonably priced for what you get. They also have a whole lot of U of M/Ann arbor pictures framed all over the walls 🧱, which I love! Definitely gives you a tavern vibe and a feeling of instant nostalgia, even if you don't love in A2.

My girlfriend and I each got a burger 🍔, only difference was I got fries 🍟 and she got a salad 🥗. Both of us loved our burgers, cooked well with fresh tasting veggies and a nice onion bun! We will be back for sure to try more of the wares this tavern as to offer!!

Real small pub venue. Fun atmosphere, the night we were there last was after a basketball game so it was crowded and the service was slow. But everyone was patient and friendly and no issues with grumps in the crowd.

The French dip and the fish and chips were both excellent. I have had the burgers there before and can highly recommend them.

Finally prices were very reasonable

I never heard of this place before, it has to be one of those best kept secrets. A friend invited me there. So glad he did. You could put this place anywhere and it would be the best burger place. Seriously I was planning on eating healthy, but just the smell from parking walking to the building was like ok I am going to have to try the burger. Literally the best burger. The fries are not special, if they did fresh cut fries or even skin on frozen would be better. Nonetheless regardless of fries, the burger will be one of the best if not the best you’ll ever have. I would not even try anything else on the menu, if you get the chance to go there, you will not be disappointed in their burgers.

This place serves amazing food. Decent amount of food at a great price. Our whole crew went out to lunch here for the 1st time since we were working a few miles away. It's definitely a place I would go back to if working in the area again.

Updating my review to say Casey's has the best burger in AA. In my opinion of course. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich(new to the menu) is mighty tasty too!! 😊

Its been two years but Finally! So glad to be able to visit Casey's again and get one the best if not the best burgers not only in Annarbor but the entire detroit metro area . I took one bite of my burger and It was just like old times !! Glad your back !!😊😊

I really loved this place. It's right across from the train station. I was on the river all day and this was very close to the livery. We only chose this spot for location. We had deep fried artichoke hearts to start. They were amazing! Something I never thought to deep fry. For that matter I don't even like fried foods but they were the exception. We both had burgers. They were cooked perfect, and so good. I will definitely be back.

First time there. They cooked my burger perfectly. Everything was delicious! My son even cleared his whole plate!

A little noisy and parking can be difficult, but the food here is not "your father's" bar food! There are lots of nice surprises on the menu which are consistently very good.
Try the Bangkok noodles and qusedeas- they are exceptional as well as any burger or salad on the menu.

My wife and daughter stopped in here for lunch on Tuesday afternoon. Prompt service, food came out quicker than most places and was exceptionally good. We will definitely be returning many more times in the future!

A nice local pub with great friendly service & your typical pub fair in a homey atmosphere. The burgers were good & they have a huge condiment selection, but the onion rings were AMAZING, I'd totally come back just for those :)

This is a great cozy bar with a great menu. The Bangkok Noodles are an absolute must, we get them every time we visit.

In town for a medical appointment with my daughter. My old stomping grounds 40 years ago. We had hamburgers, very good quality, great fries. Iced tea was very good. Friendly service by a funny server.

Great little local eatery. The staff are super friendly and it’s a fun place to chill. Food is nice- plenty of options like a diner.

A great quintessential burger and fries for a fair price, the waitress was nice, attentive, and gave good advice.

I ordered fish and chips which only came with 2 smaller than average size prices of fish and a bunch of fries. But, it was still tasty.

Excellent burger. I got cheese and double bacon. The fries are really what I came here for. I love the wide fries.

Went there with family after my son re-enlisted in the Marines at U of M stadium the place was recommended and was well worth it food was great service wonderful

I was craving onion rings, and Casey's has the best in town. And a pretty good burger, too!

Fantastic. An excellent choice for having lunch or dinner or just a drink if you're waiting for the train. The place is cozy and very colorful. The service is great and the staff very friendly. I highly recommend the fish and vegetables and Casey’s dip sandwich.

I actually took a pretty decent dump here. Clean bathroom. Food was excellent.
