Sticky Lips BBQ Juke Joint

I had the fried chicken with grits and collards. Being from the south, I was hesitant to order this meal. However, I'm glad I did! The chicken was amazing! Perfectly crispy and moist white meat. The grits were smooth and creamy. The greens were different than I'm accustomed to, but still very good. The meal, however, didn't hold a candle to our service. Michelle was awesome!! She treated us like regulars, even though we were from 1000+ miles away. She was friendly and funny and really made us feel welcome! She was our server, as well as tending a full bar. And we never waited for anything! My advice, go see Michelle and stay for some food!

We absolutely Love Sticky lips BBQ on Jefferson Road, Henrietta, NY. You can usually get right in or only have a small wait. The food is unbelievably delicious, the prices are great, the food comes quickly, and all of the staff are upbeat, efficient, and professional. First rate experience every time. The ambiance is great and the building is very spacious so guests have their own large space. Definitely try Sticky Lips.Theycalso have love music downstairs.

The food was really good. I think it’s better than Dinosaur BBQ. The place was very large inside. Everything we tries was really good. Very satisfied.

Incredible spot! Great food, very classic atmosphere. We had to have their take on the garbage plate and it was a highlight of our time in Rochester. A bit pricey sure- but well worth it. Their wings were massive and crunchy. The sides were fantastic, we especially liked the ratatouille. The ribs were a must try. Overall a fantastic experience.

My good buddy and I came for dinner on a Thursday night. The food was excellent, the service was great and the music was rockin' blues. Our server Chrissy was attentive and our food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. We got a chance to speak with the owner a couple times while he was doing some gardening out front. Looks good, nice guy. We will be back.

We are blessed to have several good choices for BBQ in our area but even more so - home grown businesses. Buy local whenever you can.

Most recent trip to Sticky Lips was very good. Went early to beat crowds and were seated right away. Prompt waitress but food took a little longer than usual to come out. No worries though. Our party of three ordered Ribs, Cajun broiled fish and Wings. Good portions and good price. All went away full and satisfied. Keep up the great work Howie.

I met my stepbrother and his family for a late bday lunch. Yeah, not me and "my family", just me. Lonely old me... So they beat me there/here by about 10 min. My niece texted me they were inside and were watching me. I was a bit embarrassed because I don't know what I was even doing while waiting. We got the buffalo chicken dip, and it was AMAZING!!! Try it, you'll see. Just don't burn the roof of your mouth. I ordered the potato bowl or whatever it's called, with pork. It was really, really, really, really, really good. So good.... and I was so full. I couldn't even eat my nephews grits. Oh... that sounded dirty.. I did not mean anything sexual or weird about that. The service was great. She didn't ignore us, and she didn't come over too much.. and the price was great. Sis in law paid so it was freeeeeeeeee..... not really I got some beers for my stepbrother 🐸

Howard, the store owner, was so nice and walking around talking to customers. I had the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. They have sugar on them and not salt, which was a nice touch.

So, the brisket is amazing. Melt in the mouth wonderfulness. Everything else was really good too but wow I wish my belly could hold more food!

I had a lovely time here - staff are friendly and attentive, the place is clean and doesnt feel too crowded. It's like a cross between a BBQ place and a sports bar, and has community events on special occasions.

I am sure that I will be back again.

Had a great time visiting while we were in the area for a local hockey tournament. Went out later in the evening and thought the place had a great vibe for hanging and watching sports. We ordered the wings, and they were very good, and I highly recommend them. Everything is made day of, and they will run out of food by the end of the night. Get there and get everything!

The food took a long time to come, but it was excellent. Our waitress sucked though.We had to ask the person who seats you for help.We were there for an hour and a half and seen our waitress twice in that time.Terrible waitress.

Wonderful brisket, great Mac and cheese, service was wonderful! Can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Rochester. Thanks for the good time!

Got to this place really late after travelling all day. They were about to close the kitchen but stayed open for my family. I ordered the ribs. They were okay but it was the end of the day. My wife got the smoked wings and she loved them. The bartender was wonderful. I liked the decor too. Overall, Ivwoukd go again if I am in Rochester. If this review was helpful please give me a like!

I was a little leery when the guy at my hotel sent me to a bbq place but this was really good. The chili had great flavor and body. The pulled pork was excellent as was the chicken breast. Cajun corn and French fries rounded the meal out nicely. And my server Sarah B was the epitome of great serving. She just did everything very well.

The best ribs in Rochester. Hands down. The mustard based Cole slaw is delicious and the ribs are so tender with a burst of flavor that is perfect. I highly recommend this place.

Food was excellent. I'm not going to say we're barbeque experts, but we know when our food tastes good.
Everything we had at this meal was great. We were stuffed, but could barely stop eating. Brisket sandwich, ribs and brisket platter, vegetarian icky plate, all excellent.
Good selection of drafts ( had a cider and vanilla porter). Nice tall cold glasses.
Our server was AMAZING ( Michelle A.). Very nice.
We WILL be back!

Great BBQ, got seated right away, My waitress Sarah was very hardworking and friendly. Not loud in the bar area at all. Good music. Took some great pics inside. Bigger on the inside than it looks. Different levels of seating. Definitely coming back. Great for groups also.

Yesterday I ordered the 3 meat combo with a side and cornbread along with an extra side.

As usual it was fabulous! I don’t care for corn as a stand alone veggie…their corn bread is moist and melts in your mouth!

The Mac and cheese & mashed potatoes were homemade.

Now on to the meats… the beef brisket was out of this world. It didn’t come sliced as normal but that didn’t matter. The taste was all that mattered and truly didn’t disappoint. The pulled pork was also great…don’t forget to mix in some of their cherry bomb sauce with it… you’ll thank me later! The ribs were really good as well…

First timer; had the brisket n blue sandwich. The Mac salad side was not up to Rochester standard, too much mayo not enough other good stuff. We arrived just after opening as the second group to be seated and when our food hadn’t arrived after a long wait and the place was full we were told it was busy. No kidding but not what I expected to hear. Our server did her best but the kitchen was obviously overwhelmed with the lunch rush. Liked the fact we could hear each other without having to yell over the music and plenty of space to move about. Must be a cool venue when there’s live music as the downstairs area looked like a great spot for a jig.
