Super friendly staff! Starting as a new patient was a breeze. They are very knowledgeable and great at explaining what my insurance would cover and what they would not. They made sure to explain every step and answered all my questions. Dr. Komissarova took the time to hear all of my dental concerns and discussed different treatment options with no pressure to make a decision right away. She was able to fix something that a previous dentist had messed up on and made a huge difference in how I feel about my smile. I am so happy I found a great Dentist and wonderful office. Definitely recommend!

The staff are friendly and professional. They provided gadgets to make me feel comfortable and relaxed while waiting for the doctor. My dentist is very well equipped and knowledgeable about the procedure.

I’ve been going to Golden Gate Dental for almost 4 years and I won’t go anywhere else. The staff have always gone above and beyond to help me get the best care possible. I feel my dentist is the best in San Francisco, and always keeps me ahead of what’s needed for my teeth health. All around, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

I went as a new patient for a cleaning. Dr Spies is awesome! I liked that she explained what she was doing every step of the way clearly, and the cleaning she performed was the most comfortable (least painful) cleaning that I’ve done.

The receptionists are also very clear in explaining to me the insurance coverage I have and the work that can be done.

I’ve been to many dental offices over the years and this place beats the rest. I’ve felt welcomed, taken care of, and most importantly the procedures have been done with thorough care and thought. Highly recommend!

Great practice!! I just completed my initial visit to establish care. Was able to sched initial appt within a month & 2nd appt for filling within 3 weeks. And they are open on the weekend!! Staff were all pleasant. Dentist is clearly knowledgeable & excellent “bedside manner.” Seems like an honest practice— I did not at all get that ‘used car salesman‘ feeling— technology seemed up-to-date (but what do I know?) but they did not try to sell me on fancy extra— and unnecessary— technology ( we’ve all been to one of those practices). I should say that coming from a totally overbooked practice at a local academic medical center where it takes literally 6 mo. to get an appt & then day-of
they cancel bc for some reason the doctor is not in the office, I did not expect much; however, the experience went beyond any expectation I could have had. my husband also goes here and has had a great experience as well. Highly recommend!!

They are not even in my network but I go to them because the energy is so good there. They are kind, compassionate, and very responsive. They are not just trying to make a buck by doing too much to your teeth. They just take pride in providing excellent dental care. Great care receives great reviews.

I’ve had many bad dental experiences (both unnecessary and bad work) before so am always weary trying out a new dentist. However, it was so easy to book an appointment (Zocdoc), they made sure I was approved and had the right forms filled out, and the dentist I saw (Dr. Young) was fantastic. He had a really great bedside manner, addressed my concerns, and was able to fix them the same day. Would recommend!

Dr. Natalya is amongst the best. She's very good at what she does, and also very attentive to her patients well-being. I'm far from being comfortable with getting dental work done, but since working with Dr. Natalya and her staff, I've become a lot calmer and more confident. Highly recommend.

I had a very good experience as a new patient at Golden Gate Dental. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful to get everything started. They took all Covid precautions very seriously and I felt super safe and comfortable.

For the cleaning and check-up, Dr. Natalya Komissarova was excellent. She provided clear details and focused on areas to watch. I liked that they took pictures and pointed out specifics.

Always a great experience with Golden Gate Dental. Prompt, professional and informative and the equipment is modern as well. They also play fun movies when having your teeth drilled to lighten the mood.
