The view was breathtaking. It was a beautiful day with a clear blue sky. The only problem was walking up 13 flights of stairs with the elevator being out on my first day visiting. Oh my goodness! Other than that, I loved it!

Nice observation deck with the beautiful views of the Bay from the Pioneer Park at the bottom of the tower. Be advised that the elevator is over 90 years old, so sometimes it doesn’t work and you need to climb up 13 flights of stairs to have a 360
degree city view. Don’t forget to check out the murals inside of the tower and a small store with a good selection of souvenirs.

Cool place to see views of the city.

The first two floors of the tower are free to visit to view the murals, but if you want to go to the top it will cost you $10 per person.

They do have an elevator that will take you to the top, but it often breaks down, so expect to climb the many stairs to the top!

It’s was very impressive to walk through top of the Coit tower. It was fantastic views from all over the San Francisco Bay Area and the surrounding country with 360 view. The ticket was purchased inside the tower and was only $10.00 with no waiting time. They have restroom and elevator access but elevator was out of service. So you need to walk through 13 floors to get in the Tower Top.

Great place to see San Francisco from the top!!! Be prepared to climb over 10 floors, it is nothing for San Franciscan, but if you are not familiar with climbing hills, it will take a bit. But it's worth it.

Great views of the city and the bay. Wasn't busy as we wevisited on a weekday but it can get busy as you wait to park. Good trek up stairs if you are able and elevators are not working. you do have to pay to go up the tower. Well worth the visit for the views.

Well worth a visit $10 a person to go to top - elevator not working so had to walk all 13 floors-243 steps but you can take breather on each floor if needed. Views and photos well worth it.

Admission $10 per adult. A great view from the top of the Tower. The climb is also interesting at the beginning with murals covering the walls. The only problem is that there were 13 floors and the elevator was out of service. It was a bit of a climb, but once at the top, it was worth it for the fantastic views of all of San Francisco. We were even able to enjoy the flight of eagles around the Tower. A highly recommended experience.

Coit Tower is a must-see for anyone visiting San Francisco. This art deco landmark offers stunning 360-degree views of the city from its observation deck. But the beauty isn't just on top. Inside the tower's base, you'll find a collection of Depression-era murals depicting life in San Francisco during the 1930s. Whether you're an art history buff or simply looking for a panoramic vista, Coit Tower has something to offer. Just be prepared for a climb – the tower sits atop Telegraph Hill, and while there's an elevator, the walk up offers fantastic city views as well.

San Francisco iconic Coit tower had been on my list for ages!

The climb made the view even more worth it (yes, I like to hike - what do you expect from an SF Tech bro?)

The acoustics going up are really cool - we had just watched Dune 2 so I was trying to imitate Sadukar Battle sounds :)

The view was phenomenal. If you are an SF resident, of course you have to go.

If you’re visiting San Francisco and can handle a hard walk to and up the tower, I recommend this is a great place to see some spectacular sights. The elevator was out of commission so I had to walk up the tower. I also walked to the tower so by the time I got to the top I looked like a sweaty farm animal, LOL. The price is $10 to get to the top which seemed reasonable. Plus I wasn’t going to turn around now.

However, the views are awesome! You can see all around the bay and into the city. Some of the glass views are dirty, but overall it was okay. I recommend visiting this tourist attraction the next time you get to San Francisco.

Fantastic spot to get a 360° view of the San Francisco area. You can see the Golden gate bridge, Alcatraz, the bay bridge, and the SF downtown. The elevator has been broken for quite some time now, so you need to take the stairs. There are over 200 steps. Parking on the weekends is almost always full, so try to get there early or you'll have to get lucky.

This spot is, in my opinion, a hidden gem, offering one of the finest views of Downtown San Francisco! While the climb up the steps can be tiring, the experience is truly worthwhile. I highly recommend a visit to Coit Tower. Although I didn't ascend to the top of the tower, I suggest exploring the surrounding area for a fulfilling experience.

This tower is at a high elevation and gives you some excellent views of the bay and the Bay bridge and cool breeze flowing all around the tower surrounded by a garden. People often come here to chill and have a picnic.

Amazing views of the city in this almost 100 year old structure. Worth the $10 to go to the top. Elevator was out, though, so 234 steps to the top, but totally worth it. Stop by and check it out.

Some well spent $10! I’m also surprised to see the murals reflecting San Francisco culture and history. Toilet available inside and outside.
Warning: Elevator is not working. (Perhaps it’s been broken for a while? The signs appear dusty.)

Much more impressive views then when you look up to the tower from the banks.
Elevator still broken so 225 steps are waiting after paying 10USD for a ticket.
Once at the top of the tower you will get magnificant views over the whole bay area and the city itself.
Great coffee at the kiosk at the parking next to the Coit tower.
Best way to go down to the city are the secret hidden stairs that starts on your right with the tower in your back. There are stairs that goes straight downwards into a kind of park and houses also the spot where the parrots from Telegraph was recordered.

Alright take a couple breaths and get ready because this tower has lots of steps and when we went the elevator was out of service but we were already there so up we go haha but the view definitely worth it just take your time going down those stairs. Admission was $10 for adults and I'm not sure what age kids pay but my two year old entrance was free

I grew up in San Francisco and this was always a historical landmark of the Bay Area. I love going up here. But sorry the City has allowed the trees to grow so much, that the view of Sf is blocked.
