This gym is clean and orderly which is a big deal for me! It has enough equipment to keep busy and it’s equipment is superior to other Planet Fitnesses. It’s my 2nd favorite behind the one in Walnut Creek! It’s well located in the financial district and for those of us who travel by BART and on foot it’s very convenient.

The employees are helpful and responsive. Some folks have a problem with the black card access but these are the perks of membership! So if you want a good experience be sure to upgrade your membership today and partake in in that gym-tactic goodness.

We have a black card membership at Planet Fitness and have used these gyms throughout much of the country. They are consistently good and a good value for us. Sure some are better maintained than others, but we are always happy with the overall experience.

Clean and nice. They have 2 floors. They have different machines. Seems like they don't have trainer in the gym. Nobody showed me around. The lady in the front desk was nice.

The staff keeps this gym NICE & VERY CLEAN! I've been to a lot of planet fitness in the Bay Area , this location is THE BEST! it smells soooo good! Highly recommend this specific location

Very good club, well maintained machines and clean. I’ve visited San Francisco coming from Toronto, it’s pretty amazing I’m allowed to USA clubs with my Canadian membership. I’ve a pleasant workout

Friendly staff, clean, never overly crowded, packed with amenities for black card members, and a cool layout with machines in an old bank vault even! Some people may think this is a smaller club if they’re used to the larger locations. There also aren’t as many machines but it truly does have most of what you need. I love this location! ❤

Great place to work out. The location is surrounded by parking garages with in three blocks. The parking does get pricey if you take longer then one hour. Each bicycle has it's own tv. Two levels and several areas to work out in. The height of the ceiling is not as high as the planet fitness in Daly City but they maximize the space for San Francisco.

I was amazed to find such a broad selection of equipment in such a small gym! I expected that I would have to modify my workout, but I found everything I needed, and the only equipment I waited for was the spray bottle once. 😅
They have done an amazing job of space efficiency.

The staff was super friendly, and of course the gym goers were respectful and considerate.

Great gym if you’re willing to forgo true free weight racks/bench presses. Good set of weight/cargo/pulley machines and dumbbells and benches. Clean, only positive experiences with employees and other members, everyone’s pretty responsible about wiping down equipment because it’s a budget gym, locker rooms are fine but shower shoes a necessity imo.

Whole experience is light on frills, but still wild that the price is as low as it is

Its amazing that a gym with all these amenities with so many locations in the USA can be priced this generously. In a world where we are constantly getting ripped off PF is the one place that we can go and feel like we are the ones getting away with the better end of the deal. Just remember you! Be Long! On Planet Fitness Stock. It should go up lol!

Just joined this gym. I have used various gyms in the past just for clarification. This gym was super easy to join and very transparent with the terms. Upon arrival I asked for a tour, was greeted warmly and shown around. The gym is incredibly clean and well maintained. I am very happy with this as I have had memberships at other gyms. People have said it’s small and had two levels. Yes, and so??? This gym has all the key equipment you need and then some with the tanning beds and massage chairs. Idk why I didn’t join sooner.

So glad to be back after COVID and in a new location since moving to SF. Lori at the front desk is awesome! I have always loved Planet Fitness! During COVID, I kept my membership active to make sure you stayed in business. After COVID restrictions were lifted, I unfortunately had knee surgery on both knees and could not return. I have now been given the go-ahead to come back "softly." I am so glad that we moved to San Francisco and could now experience the San Francisco crew. In all the years of my previous location, I never made any friends. In San Francisco, I now have made three friends in only two visits! The crew and my friends have been so helpful in my navigation of new equipment which I had never used before when my legs were healthy. Thank you to all for being so welcoming and so helpful!

Amazing gym! Just wished it opened at 7am everyday so that we can work out early on weekends. They also close early on weekend which sucks for those that work that need a workout late weekends :/ pls hire someone (there’s plenty of ppl that need work) to work these hours ;)
Other than that great gym, and cool massage chairs for black card members :)

Greatest Gym I have ever been to. Very very affordable. Super clean and the staff is always on the floor cleaning, fixing and guiding. My favorite part is definitely the massage chair!! but everything else is perfect.

After reading the reviews, I was a bit nervous. However, I found the staff and facility really great. Miya, the GM, was friendly and helpful and kind. The showers appeared clean and in good condition; I did not see any people that made me uncomfortable, nor did I see any dirty refuse in the locker room or shower. Just people working out. Maybe it was the time of day I was there (Monday 12-2 pm), but I would recommend this gym highly.

Cool staff, lots of equipment to workout with, great value in a great area

Moved here from Phoenix and there a lot more things to consider when choosing a gym here. Parking is one of them. There are signs posted that Tuesday-Thursday there is no parking aloud until 7am because of street cleaning, and I'm an early bird, I hit the gym at 5AM. I found out that the street sweepers are done at about 2am so it hasn't been an issue for me since I started a month ago.

They have all the equipment of a "big box gym" and it is always very clean. Also, it's pretty empty early in the morning. I almost never have to wait for a machine. Staff is friendly and the cost is next to nothing! I live in Sausalito, so I pay $7 every time I cross the Golden Gate Bridge to the city. Many of the gym memberships around here are $100-$400 per month, so at $60 enrollment and $10 per month with no limitations, this is the best gym in the city!

Great equipment, never too crowded

Belonged there awhile back. The equipment was great and up to date and the staff was extremely cool and nice.
Especially had a special strong bond with Edgar whom I really cared about, who originally signed me in the club my first day.
Don’t belong there presently, but it was a very good gym and I’ll always have a place in my soul and heart for Edgar who I’ll always think about.. I know Edgar is having a great life and my prayers and all my Love are out there to him..
