Best croissant I've ever had! Absolutely loved the almond croissant- flaky on the outside but so buttery + soft on the inside. Parallels Paris quality (maybe even better). So good.

The croissants are on another level, absolutely decadent and delicious!!! Chocolate almond is our favorite! I don’t live here but my cousin will be them when he visits or we come when I visit. Nice staff thank you!!!

Well worth standing in line here. Just do it. I stood with about 20-30 people before me but the line moved fast. I had the plain and chocolate croissant and they were incredible. This place is hyped for a good reason, they walk the talk.

Five stars for Arsicault! Their croissants are absolutely phenomenal - flaky, buttery, and with a perfect golden brown crust. They're the kind of croissant that make you close your eyes and savor every bite. I can't recommend them enough! Além disso, they have a great selection of other pastries and breads, so there's something for everyone. I'll definitely be back soon!

Easily the best croissant since being in France! Perfect buttery and flaky pastry, will definitely be back. Had the ham and cheese, filling was just right also.

BEST CROISSANTS IN THE BAY!!!

My boyfriend and I live in South Bay, but we make the trek up to the city just for these croissants. The line is long, but it goes quick!

We get one thing and one thing only: the plain croissant. It is a buttery flakey explosion of deliciousness in your mouth—we will often devour one outside right after we get it from the shop.

The best croissants my partner and I have ever had. We are from outta town and we made a stop here before going to the airport. It’s SO worth it! Get something savory and sweet.

There is a line every morning for a reason! Once you get it, the staff is extremely friendly and won't make fun of you when you don't know how to pronounce an item you want. Everything was great, especially the almond croissant. I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in SF

I had heard a ton about this place. They were out of all the food when I got there and there was a big line with about a wait time of 5 minutes to get the last 2 items on the menu: plain and chocolate croissant. I only got the chocolate croissant and it was so worth the wait and hassle to find parking. Very well made. I'd definitely visit again to check out the rest.

Highly recommend the chocolate croissants and plain croissants. Their croissants are flaky yet soft and delicate inside. The butteriness of the croissants make even the plain croissants taste good. Personally, almond croissants as well as ham & cheese croissants are not my fav. Almond croissants are too sweet for my liking and the sweetness masks the taste of the almonds. For ham & cheese croissants, the ham is not salty/flavorful enough and the cheese is not punch, lacking a bit flavors in my opinion.

Whenever I am in SF, I’ll come here religiously to get the plain and chocolate croissants. Expect a long queue but fortunately the queue moves quite fast!

Big line on a sunday, but move quick. The kouign-amann was indeed very good and worth the wait, so was the croissant.

There's no seating area, so it's more of an in and out bakery.

San Francisco must do list star. Incredible croissants and other baked goods. Limited seating so there might be wait for spot to sit at but this place is worth visiting. Grab the treats and take them to a SF park to devour.

Aráicault Bakery is an absolute paradise for pastry lovers like me. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked goods. The croissants here are simply outstanding, with their delicate layers of flaky pastry and rich, buttery flavor. The chocolate almond croissant was a particular standout to me, with its generous filling and perfect balance of sweetness. I also ordered the kouign amann and chocolate chip cookie, both delicious. Although there is no seating, the wait is well worth it for the incredible pastries. This is a must-visit spot in San Francisco!

10/10 FLAKIEST croissants I’ve ever had. Totally worth the quick wait in line and the almond croissant was heavenly.

No seating, but quick efficient service and very polite staff.

One of the best croissants I’ve ever had! Warm, buttery, rich, and flaky perfection. Love the savory scone with bacon bits, chocolate croissant, and chocolate cookie as well.

Got here at 8:10am on a Saturday (10 mins after doors opened) and the line was all the way down the street. Line moved fast but was still a 40 min wait.

2024 update: 42 people and 2 dogs in line but only a 24 minute wait. Still fantastic chocolate almond croissants. 😊

36 people deep line but got to the door in under 15 minutes. Butter 🥐 is unbelievably flaky, on par with B and Tartine. Choc 🥐 also wonderful. Choc Almond out of this world good. Go now.

It doesn’t get better than this when you’re craving croissants.

When you see people saying things like “best croissant I’ve ever had!” You can’t help but find your way to it.

I can honestly say, those few bites I had at this wonderful bakery, brought me more joy than the countless bites other croissants have warranted.

If you haven’t tried this place, I highly suggest you find some time, and make your way to Arsicault Bakery 🥐

Best croissant ever! Crisp flaky buttery perfectly baked outer layer and super soft insides. There’s usually a long queue out, so come prepared. Get one of each, it’ll be worth it. Also definitely get the plain one—it’s the best.

Hands down the best croissants that ever had!
Worth a stop any time you're in the area.
The line is super long but goes pretty quickly, and it's just a small space where you order from a counter, pay, and take the pastries out from.
The croissants are almost always super flaky and buttery with a rich taste. The only exception was one time when it wasn't as flaky as I would have liked, but out of the countless times I've been here it has only happened once.

I recommend the chocolate croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and regular croissant. I've also tried their kouign-amann, almond croissant, and chocolate almond croissant. The kougin-amann and almond croissant were delicious but not my personal preference, and the chocolate almond croissant was the only one I didn't like (it was too sweet and a bit overwhelming in that way).

I will definitely be returning again and again.

It goes without saying this is one of the best bakery’s in the city.

I dream about the savory scone every morning with my coffee and have been completely ruined when it comes to croissants. Everything on the menu is the perfect blend of flaky, buttery and freshly made.

You can’t go wrong with a stop here (regardless of line size!).

Pro tip: if you’re in a rush, head to their civic center location. 0 line, much larger scale and process. Also a great space to hang out and work from if you just can’t get enough and need access to go back for more.
