This is the best place to get Chinese Chicken Salad on hot summer days. During summer months, they sell 800+ Chinese chicken salad.

Personally, Comforts Chinese Chicken Salad will be my deathbed meal as I crave for every few weeks especially on too hot to cook summer days. The big box (looks like Chinese take out box) of CCS will feed 2 adults for dinner.
They have marinated tofu (replace chicken) for Vegetarian salad. We often get Tofu Chinese salad for friends practicing Halal or Vegetarian.
If anybody is allergic to sesame seeds or almond, you could ask one the staff to make those ingredients separately packaged for you, then they will make a new box of salad without those ingredients but on the side (in a ziplock bag) to take home.

The restaurant has 2 different areas. One area is deli/take-out counter service area with some round tables and to the left of the entrance there’s a sit-down waiter-service restaurant with a patio sitting.

The salads there are fantastic. If I happen to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, a magnet pulls me to comforts every time. They’re always very busy, but you can take food away very quickly as well.

A “go to” for great sandwiches, their signature Chinese Chicken Salad, prepared salads, soups, entrees and did I mention the “to die for” cakes and cookies and sweet confectionery case? Grab a latte and sit outside or dine in their newly renovated space. Always can find a food comfort at Comforts!

Cafe and deli all in one! You can’t go wrong here. Great family run business with employees who care. Chinese Chicken Salad is WorldClass! Deli dishes are always good.

Ordered 4 Chinese chicken salad ahead of time. Food was completely ready when I got there and service was quick. Took it home and food was great.

Excellent people. Tried their trademark Chinese Chicken Salad, but perhaps because I shared the salad and dressing, I found it to be bland and somewhat dry. I did enjoy a delectable Turkey and Cranberry Sandwich and chocolate Brownie. The ice Tea was made well and fresh. We took home an appetizer of Squash Blossoms filled with tangy cheese and a tray of eggplant parmigiana. Fabulous!. I'm goin back!

Cathy is a fantastic server! Everytime we go here she is attentive to our needs and is able to handle the entire Cafe by herself and you don't notice any difference in service. The food is wonderful and always consistent.

There are many places to eat breakfast in Marin County and this is one of the best! This morning I had a simple scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a scone… done to perfection. My more adventurous wife had the Sausage with Creamy Polenta and she stated it was AMAZING! it was a lot of good food but she finished it all. Probably the best polenta she ever had. We went on a busy Saturday Morning but we’re seated in just a few minutes and the attentive and hard working waitress was quick to help. We’ll be back!

Come for the Chinese Chicken Salad but stay for the Pecan Crusted French Toast!

A delightful brunch spot with variety in their Breakfast and Lunch menus AND a convenient pre-packed meals section AND delicious baked goods.

We had the Eggs Benedict today but the French Toast with Sweet Cream Cheese filling blew me away. Five stars on location, service and food!

Best Chinese Chicken salad. I believe this was the original. None the less, the food at Comforts is always fresh and great tasting. My favorite, which I eat just about 3-5 times a week, is the Chinese Chicken salad. Yeah, anyone can get lettuce, green onions, chopped peanuts, sesame seeds, and blood orange slice, but it's all in the magical taste of Comfort's Chinese Chicken salad dressing. While you're there, grab a bottle for when the dressing you're being served can't win a taste contest even while being the only dressing in the contest. Comfort's is definitely a Gold Medal Winner!!!
