This restaurant is the hidden gem in the Fillmore district. Yes, it’s small but everything on the menu is to die for. Authentic French cuisine designed and perfected by Olivier who provides excellent service. If you haven’t been here you have no idea what you’re missing. I love this place!

That small local gem on the Pacific Heights fabric, with cozy French ambience perceived through the interior, music, visitors, and how Olivier, the owner, treats you, have made me feel a precious guest there for several years. The menu is quite diverse in meals to take and noble wines to enjoy. I tasted almost all dishes there. Those that I liked most include: French onion soup with French bread (it is something), Cobb, French pear salads, salmon/tuna fillet (chef Francisco's way to cook them is outstanding), delicious Fillet Mignon and NY steak, mouthwatering shrimp and scallop scampi, roasted half a chicken and chicken curry. I often take Eggs Benedict with saumon, crab, avocado, etc, and omelettes, huevos rancheros for breakfast or brunch, too. Whether you've ordered lunch or the main course, try the dessert options: French toast (I like with banana or berries), bread pudding or chocolate mousse, and don't forget to ask for their signature cheesecake or charming champagne sobayon - you will never regret. And high quality French wine completes the whole picture.

What I also like is that even if I keep ordering the same favourite dish, chef Francisco often magically makes the familiar meals shine in the new light and taste.

Curbside has become my favourite place in this gastronomic district.

Decided to get breakfast around San Francisco & by far was the best option , they aren’t open on sundays but today they were, calling to reserve a table of 7 people was so smooth no complications when doing so and the wait time was about 14 minutes. Besides getting a table there the interior was rather a small space but they make it work making sure the customer has enough room to eat and enjoy their time. Their menu had rather multiple options today we went with the huevos rancheros and an order of French toast. The eggs were very delicious but be aware the tortillas are actually apart of the dish and added below the eggs. The French toast were beautifully displayed as many have said but the taste of them are actually incredible! The toast is definitely more on the smaller portion but very filling. Overall the employees were all very friendly despite the rush hour.

Found this homely restaurant by accident while looking around the area, decided to stop by for dinner. The risotto was to die for, as can attest my daughter, and the steak frites was nicely cooked. Having never tried crème brûlée or cheesecake, my daughter and I loved them. The staff is very kind and accommodating, I highly recommend this cozy French restaurant.

The place looks pretty simple, but it is a good brunch spot!

The prices are decent and the serving size is huge. I had the Salmon Omelette. I was happy with the amount of salmon in it. The potatoes were really well seasoned too!

I love this place. Every single time we go to SF, we make sure to come here for breakfast. This year we were glad this was not one of the places that closed down due to covid.

The food here is absolutely delicious and the french toast is the BEST I have ever had! I've never seen french toast presented so beautifully and perfect. Our server, also the owner, really loves what he does and seems like this Cafe is his passion. That made me appreciate Curbside Cafe even more.

One of my favorite places to eat in SF. The BEST French toast you’ll have in your life. Buttery baguettes made perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Crab Benedict and breakfast tacos are also amazing. The staff are always super friendly and brighten your day. Support this local business! It’s a frequent spot for my friends and I for brunch.

Really really good food, especially the Crab Eggs Benedict and Shrimp & Scallop Scampi. Coffee is not good at all.

I called to confirm the reservation, and the owner was extremely professional, and upon arrival, the reception was warm, kind and accommodating.

Even with only two people serving, the experience was fast & efficient. The French toast was delicious, and my friend enjoyed the Crab Eggs Benedict.

I will definitely come back!

The Curbside Café’s proprietor, Olivier Perrier, is truly a San Francisco example of a passionate and lasting small biz restauranteur in every sense – efficient, gracious, thoughtful, consistent, and charming.
My parents, brother and I came here since he first opened his little café off Fillmore on California for many years, every Friday for a late lunch. Due to family health issues, we came less frequently for several years but returned over the last couple years post the Pandemic. Remarkably since our return, the food has been as consistently delicious, the service as charming and personal and the atmosphere as comfortable and amusing as it has always been! I don’t usually write reviews (though I often read others) but the Curbside Café’s quality moved me to write this one. I have lived and visited Paris during my career. The Curbside Café claims its place as a piece of authenticity as a small San Francisco café in both my magical City by the Bay and The City of Light.

We stopped by here for an early dinner, a little after 5PM, and we were greeted by the host/server with a warm French accent. There are a few tables outside, and indoor dining is available too, with the tables set up around the perimeter of the dining floor. At our time, there was only a couple eating at one of the outdoor tables.

We ordered Calamari, the slow cooked pot roast, and the shrimp and scallop scampi. All of these were delicious. The pot roast was REALLY slow cooked that I almost needed a spoon to eat the tender beef. And the scallops of the scampi were perfectly cooked as well.

I wish we were able to take advantage of the wine selection because I feel like I can trust the Frenchman when it comes to the wine. But maybe for another visit, because I know this won't be my last time. The service was wonderful, he checked up on all the tables several times throughout everyone's meals (at the time, 4 tables, so it could be more infrequent when the place gets busier), and he always made sure that my cup of water was always filled without even having to ask.

We left a little after 6:30, and that's when the restaurant was beginning to fill up, and understandably so.

Had an amazing brunch! We showed up on a weekday around noon and there were plenty of tables open. Cozy and cool little spot, and the owner was great as well! It's difficult nowadays for "breakfast" food to appear top tier for average prices, but Curbside did it. It was a wonderful surprise. Will definitely be back!
