Purchased my first FILSON sweater...all I have to say is why did I wait so long. I have other sweaters of 5 gauge wool that are over 30 years old, and the FILSON does not disappoint.

It is an investment piece, and have received multiple compliments on it as well. Really like the hand knit quality and the whimsy of the sweater.

I will purchase items again from them.

This place is amazing. Some day, I’ll make it to the Seattle one. Kiki was an amazing associate. And I put my Alaskan guide shirt to use immediately.

Gareth was very helpful in helping me find a Filson jacket that fit me well. He was very informative and clearly knew the products without being pushy in any way. I ended up going with the Sherpa Fleece.

The products there are fantastic and high quality, but the customer service is one of the best, I have ever been to. The operator and sales associate deserve better than 5 stars and have made our family a life long customer of Filson. We will definitely return when we are back in San Francisco. I went there for the first time this past Sunday 10/23, and had an absolute blast with Gareth and Jay ( mgr). Super polite and fun. I pretty much had an idea of my size but they both took the time to explain how the brand fits and so forth. I then proceeded to listen and go down a size from what I thought. These garments did fit however I do like my clothes just a little bit bigger. I had everything that I had wanted and needed just one more shirt. They had it but I didn’t see my size, behold gareth had one. I was elated. I will be back and I highly recommend asking for either one of these gentlemen when you attend the store. Thanks again to Gareth and Jay.

Great experience! Enjoyed the small intimate layout of the store and effective merchandising. The shopkeeper, John, was very knowledgeable and helpful and made sure I found what I was looking for. A big fan of the Filson brand and the high quality products they have to offer. Can't wait to go back for more pieces to add to my collection.

Filson is my favorite brand of bags and outerwear hands down. The SF Store is small but doesn't disappoint. It's well stocked and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased their new dry backpack which I've been coveting for boating – and now my life is complete.

Re-waxing and Whiskey event brought my wife and I into the San Francisco store.
I am a long time Filson customer (35+ years) however first time visiting a Filson retail store. The store itself has a nice selection of most of the Filson line, with plenty of different sizes to try on and purchase. The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and most importantly knowledgeable. After waxing my duster, I ended up buying a jacket and vest, the vest was out of stock in my size but they happily called another store and found my size and had it shipped to my home address. While there, we were offered water, coffee and other refreshments multiple times by different employees. Had some great conversations and met some new people.
The only down side was Seven Stills Distillery who was supposed to be pouring Whiskey, they arrived an hour late and never really got their act together, we finally left without tasting the whiskey, because of this they are definitely off my list now. However this had nothing to do with Filson staff. Will be returning for other events and to purchase more Filson products.

Filson products are terrific! The stores are great.

CAUTION -- Their online ordering customer service is appallingly bad.. I had to dispute the charge on my credit card after getting nowhere with Filson's Customer service process.. (acknowledgment of problem by form letter and then silence... for days and days with no further help or contact)

Very nice people, very friendly, very helpful, awesome store! There's an Asian gentleman and I forgot his name I wanna say Tom but I was really have no idea, cool, pleasant to deal with and of course helpful, both the guys in there were great actually!
