Very tasty sweet empanadas- not to be confused with savory Spanish/mexican empanadas, these are similar to sweet bread and are a perfect desert. Super affordable too. They speak Spanish and English

I highly recommend the quesadilla redonda- not to be confused with Mexican quesadillas, this is a traditional sweet bread from El Salvador, made with rice flour and light cheese (don’t really taste it), topped with sesame seeds. Similar to a pound cake. At $1.35, it’s a great deal. Always friendly service

Excellent pastries and Salvadorean treats, including tamales and a few other goodies. This bakery has a great variety of specialty breads such as quesadillas, peperechas, semita, and so on, and my favorite, relampagos. Be ready for a nice treat -- something you won't be able to resist! #TheBrokerWithAHeart

UPDATE: I tried small vanilla loaf cake CALLED Tamilla de papas, it was fluffy moist inside a slightly crusted sugary top with a few plump raisins, the texture & the flavor was amazing!

Wonderful Pastries! I've shared this treasure with many and feel fortunate to have what I consider to be the best local bakery right in my neighborhood. Through the years the pastries have gotten smaller, another unfortunate result of inflation. To their credit they sucessfully chose this solution to maintain quality without rising prices. A rare gem offering delicious home made quality that is amazingly inexpensive. A cultural experience. Highly recommended.

Small, local place with pretty descent coffee, friendly and older SF feel - before the hipster era. Great home-made style baked goods and Salvadorian style tamales, wrapped in leaves. Excellent!

I found this gem of a bakery going to the bus stop and I’m telling you, the pasties and tamales are so yummy, I keep going back for more. The bread pudding is really good.

Pacita’s Bakery is THEE BEST Salvadorian bakery in Northern California! Hands down! Now during the pandemic I literally drive the two hours just to get pan dulce at Pacita’s, then drive the two hours back home. Worth the drive!! ♥♥♥
