Special events, birthdays, weddings, recitals, births, graduations, promotions, retirements, get well, holidays or for no reason other than “I love you” they have got you covered. Pickup or deliveries are possible but try to visit the location for floral eye candy that will make your day. Gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful.

NIGELLA was like walking into an amazing hidden "secret garden" type place.. Beautiful arrangements. Plants like the "STRELITZIA REGINAE" ( Bird of paradise plant/flower). This is my new favorite plant to work with.(very stubborn at first 1 month and still growing) The staff were able to help me with a few basic tips to help ease into the initial indoor transplant shock. They were happy to let me browse and take a few pics. Whatever you are looking for, I am sure they can handle it. Will go there again (hopefully many times).. Also willing to help. Recommend to all.

I am happy to have found a florist that takes great care of my sister’s birthday flowers two days after Valentine’s Day. As a florist, myself, I know that this can be challenging, but Nigella did a great job and sent a beautiful arrangement. Thank you!

Nigella’s Mac, did an awesome job in creating these awesome birthday arrangements for friends in Alameda. As a Boston based landscape architect, I prefer out of the ordinary arrangements, and Nigella met my expectations! The fact they were able to pull this off on the super busy Valentine’s weekend was impressive!

There is not enough to say about Nigella. Their storefront is in my office building and I often go there to pick up bouquets to get for my now wife. The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful.

In December, 2022 Nigella made the flower arrangements for our wedding. We went in to the store on a Saturday morning and my wife told the owner JR our wedding theme and that him and his team could take complete creative control with our arrangements. Everything looked perfect and my wife was so happy with their work. Nigella flowers always bring a smile to her face and they will bring a smile to yours as well.

Just finished a workshop with Rubie from Nigella and it’s a sheer joy. She is so passionate about plants and flowers and so knowledgeable and thankfully shares all this generously with her workshop attendants. What a treat !

From the start, Adama was kind and thoughtful through the intake process. I had a moodboard and rough color scheme (our wedding did not have a theme and was pretty minimal in look and feel). She walked through ideas and provided a clear proposal with flowers in season and talked through price options until I felt comfortable.

The team was stellar! Not only were the designs memorable and not over the top (per my minimalist request) but guest were so complimentary of the unique combinations of florals that somehow seemed so "us." They also made sure my bouquet and his boutonniere arrived on time for first look photos, that we decided to do only few days prior to the wedding.

We agreed to bring back the vases we rented, as the 4th of July followed our wedding directly. When we arrived at the shop, each employee was so lovely and it was clear we made the right choice. We will be back anytime we are in the bay area (we are Berkeley grads living in Brooklyn at the moment). Nothing but gold stars, our wedding was perfect and the team was 10/10.

After an issue with delivery of a present, I had to order a last-minute gift and decided on a plant. I called Nigella, requesting a next day delivery right before their closing time. Not only were they able to accommodate this but they were incredibly kind and helpful to find a plant within my budget. The person who helped me sent me photos and aided in my decision making from afar. It was such a pleasant and easy experience although a hard choice - the options were all so beautiful! The price points were great for plant size, pots, and delivery. I’m excited to gift a beautiful monstera and look forward to visiting the store when I am in San Fransisco to buy some more plants for my partner’s space.

I don't usually write reviews but the guys at Nigella whipped out 2 beautiful bouquets in 15 minutes for a surprise engagement party. There were so many things didn't go as planned but the flowers were so gorgeous that saved the day. Friendly people with amazing artistry and skill!

Nigella SF did an amazing job on my client's wedding flowers. We were planning from across the country and they were so helpful and patient with us to make my client's vision come to life. The flowers were beautiful and fresh, and they created an amazing garland down the table that the guests couldn't stop talking about. They are true professionals, care about their art and I highly recommend them. Thank you Rubie and JR for making my client's wedding exactly how she had envisioned it!

I've been shopping for flowers at Nigella since its inception - I can't believe it has taken me so long to write a review!

Rubie and co are WONDERFUL. They are brilliant at interpreting personalities and making them into gorgeous bouquets. I order flowers for Mother's Day every year, my brother's girlfriend's birthday, and random events in between. I've never seen anything resembling the same arrangement twice. Everything is vibrant, fun, and beautiful. I've also been working with Rubie for my wedding flowers and am so excited to see what Nigella comes up with (plus they've been fantastic with handling weddings postponed through a pandemic).

I highly recommend Nigella. I feel confident and listened to every time I call and I know that the product is always going to be utterly stunning.

ETA: I had to add to this because I just had my wedding and Nigella did the flowers and OH MY GOD I'm going to be dreaming of them for the rest of my life. We pretty much told Nigella they could do whatever they wanted and wowwwwwwww I've never seen such beautiful flowers. I had the most beautiful bouquet, my husband had the loveliest boutoniere that our five-month-old was obsessed with, and the arch was the most spectacular piece of floral art that I have ever seen.

The bouquets at Nigella are absolutely beautiful, it's clear there is great thought, emotion and creativity involved. I'm so sorry I forgot to take a photo! I also appreciate their prompt delivery in San Francisco. My dear friends absolutely adored the creation and I highly recommend Nigella!

I walked by this place and instantly fell in love!! It reminds me of long gone but never forgotten magical Florist's (like Fabulous "Izia" on Market, near the Castro and "Fioradella" on Polk) The second time i went in, last minute looking for flowers for a friend i hadn't seen for awhile, they had these beautiful bouquets, freshly made AT THE FRONT DOOR!! Super quick and the staff super friendly!! I can't wait to go back!!

I loved my bouquet and flower arrangements for my wedding. Rubie and JR were easy to work with and they were even able to set up candles at the venue for me instead of me having to sent a family member. Several stangers even asked me where I had ordered my bouquet, I would definitely recommend them.
