Had a great experience, I'm surprised some others haven't. Easy to schedule appointment. They were even able to identify me by my phone number calling in, and after validating me, were able to pull in all my medical records. Got an appointment only a few hours later. Didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes, and the doctor (Dr. Bodony) who saw me was friendly and a great listener, and after an exam, provided excellent and detailed explanation of what he thought was going on and the course of treatment. Sent me for an x-ray right next-door, which only took another 5-10 minutes of waiting. Everyone I had contact with, from the front desk, nurses, doctor, and radiology technician, were super nice and helpful, and it all seemed surprisingly well coordinated. Probably the best medical experience I have ever had. And I have had some very good and bad ones.

Dr. Rich is a brilliant and patient diagnostician who clearly enjoys problem solving with people. I think this place has changed quite a bit over the past year or two. Since the UCSF takeover of a lot of older Marin county health organizations they seem to have installed really knowledgeable doctors. Their appointment system works really well and is going to be much easier and less frustrating than showing up and waiting.

This was my first time in an urgent care facility, and I was very impressed. They were efficient and knowledgeable. I was in and out in 30 minutes for something my GP could not treat for a week. Big relief. I recommend them.

After reading the reviews I was fearing the worst but needing to see someone about a hamstring injury, I couldn't wait for an appointment with my booked up doctor. I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient my visit was and the fact that I was able to get in on the same day I called for an appt + consult with an actual MD about my prognosis and treatment.

Great, fast service. I would recommend their services to anyone. They were also one of few urgent cares in the area that took my specific insurance and got me in for a same day appointment. I will return in the future!

Staff was very polite and helpful. I called ahead and when I got there I got right in. Dr. Bell was very thorough and did a great job in taking care of my problem. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone.

The nurse and doctor who looked at my son were helpful and efficient- keeping our time at the practice in mind. Much better than sitting in an ER.

Having been here at least 5 times, I would say that like everything it largely depends on who you interact with that day. I tend to take their last available appointment. My first experience/doctor was infuriating. Since then it has only been improved, and the staff has been helpful. Today was optimal. Dr. Littman =10/10
For the only option available to medi-cal users, I am very satisfied.

I called the number listed for this Marin Health urgent care location. I was told I could walk in for appointment up until 6:45pm. I took off work and drove over immediately arriving at 5pm. I was told there were no walk in appointments available. My experience is that there is poor communication between the phone number listed and the onsite staff to properly guide patients.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband called and made an appointment, when he went in they said he did not have an appointment. they would not see him as a walk in. He ended up in the ER later in the day. I have to add on the day my husband went in, was told he had no appointment he booked an appointment for the next day before ending up in the ER. When he called to cancel the next day appointment he was told that he no upcoming appointment. Can I give negative stars??

Have used this urgent care for years & had great experiences until today. Today my daughter was told when she arrived that they don’t take walk-ins…I inquired further since we have always walked-in & was then told they only take one walk-in per hour & they had already filled their walk-in spots for the day. Said we could go to emergency room. While it’s frustrating that an urgent care doesn’t take walk-ins anymore what was worse was her rude and nasty attitude. Not sure I’d want to use this location anymore with such unfriendly staff. She had dark shoulder length hair & believe her name was Karina. Possibly a nurse there?! The receptionist answering the phones was fine & helpful. Also, the place was completely empty…no one waiting at all.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Even in network still 3x more expensive than paying out of pocket at Carbon Health. Quality of care is worse too.

This facility has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I"m here in California from out of town and the medical assistance for help was not provided and I'm really disappointed. I would not advise anyone to visit or attempt to obtain medical treatment from this clinic!!!!

Wouldn’t even give one star if I could. I called to schedule an in-person appointment for gastrointestinal issues and the scheduler would not let me do that before scheduling a zoom call with the doctor. I specifically told the person on the phone that this would not be effective or necessary as I know the doctor would end up saying that I need to come in to be evaluated and get labs done. She refused to schedule an in-person appointment and said “I understand that but you will need a video appointment before being able to get seen in person.” The nurse was supposed to call me with the zoom call information and she did not. I had to call back and then wait for another half hour past the time the appointment was scheduled for to get the information. I then waited for an additional hour for the rude doctor to show up and he barely apologized for the wait. Meanwhile, I have left work to wait for this pointless call sacrificing two hours of my pay. The doctor said “yeah, without you being here in person there is really nothing I can do.” He offered to order a fecal exam and never even put the order in. Within 5 minutes the call was over and he kept trying to end the call before I could even ask any questions. I had to cut him off to say what I was concerned about. Honestly, I would never wish this experience on anyone and I am absolutely appalled by the behavior and treatment I received from every single person I had to interact with at this inept organization. Truly STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE IN EVENT OF EMERGENCY. They will not help you and they will be rude and inconsiderate. Compassion is definitely not their forte and they are scamming people to make useless appointments and then charging them ridiculous amounts ($500+ after insurance) for their lack of service and incompetence.

I now have an infection because of the sloppy, neglect care I received after a fall. I went there instead of to the ER. That was October 18. The MA cleaned my facial and mouth wounds as best she could. The doctor spent two minutes with me. He said it didn’t need stitches, I should just keep it clean. He never checked whether I might have suffered a concussion. Never felt my neck although he wrote that he had on his review. He never really looked at the open wound in my inner lip to insure that it had been completely cleaned of dirt, etc. he never asked if I was up to date on tetanus shots.He was cold, hurried, and incompetent.
The wound in my mouth didn’t heal, and I went back on Sunday, October 23 and this time the doctor prescribed a topical antibiotic and an oral one. I have not gotten better.
Today is a week after my fall and the infection in my mouth is much worse. I am going to the ER at Marin General tomorrow. I will never go to this facility again.

I do NOT recommend this place at all and would prefer to give them a negative rating if I could. I will admit this is totally due to my interaction with the ONE nurse there that I saw yesterday and spoke with today. But this was enough that I will not go there AGAIN unless she is gone!
I have been sick for 9 days and have seen the same doctor twice and he was fine but they apparently have only one nurse, or so she claimed. I called because the information in my after visit report was confusing. Rather than just explaining what tests I needed, she was argumentative about what I said that the report said. She was rude, and when I asked (twice) to speak to someone else, she said no, that she was the only one there. She said that she would send a message to someone else and , as I was asking for a call back from that person, she just hung up on me! This is unacceptable behavior from someone who is supposed to be dealing with people who are obviously not well. She NEEDS to be in a different profession!

NOT A WALK In CLINIC! False advertising! Sick people get all the way down there just to be told this. Rude and unprofessional. If I could give zero, I would.

Worst "urgent care" to rely on i was refused service by the front lady and was told that i needed to make an appointment, saying that they are booked even though it was completely empty. Do not go here, wouldn't even call this a hospital.

So. 4:30pm on a Saturday my mother in law split her head open. Arrived at 4:45pm at this Urgent Care. Doors are locked. We went next door and the folks in the imaging department (who were very nice and very helpful) said they often leave early.. So good to see that the quality of health care in the second most expensive county in the nation is "top notch".

Don't go there! Clinic was empty though the wait was an hour in the sitting room and 45 min in the room. NOT clean! Dr. used same gloves for the physical exam as opening the door and setting up the room. Getting labs took a week and 3 phone calls only to get inconclusive results.
