Fog City

We had the pleasure of filming this iconic restaurant. The design of it is really cool. The people who work here are very nice, with a variety of food and drink options. A lovely historic spot for locals and travelers to enjoy modern San Franciscan cuisine and cocktails when visiting SF! ♥

Great food, service and environment in a great location. The team here is super nice and friendly. The place is super clean. Great outdoor eating areas. Great happy hour! A must go to on Embarcadero/Battery area!

Great food, service and environment. We went there after visiting Alcatraz we did not make a reservation but that would extremely help in getting a seat. We finished our Alcatraz tour, walked off the boat at 7PM and went straight to the restaurant. We were able to get seated at the high table next to the bar. We ordered the ribs and a margarita pizza.

Nice and spacious restaurant. Great for happy hour. Varied happy hour menu with exquisite options. We ordered fish tacos which were very good and fresh oysters. Delicious. Good price and good service. Ideal to stop for a snack in the middle of the afternoon.

The restaurant was very beautiful and clean, and our waiter was very nice. Our meals came out very quickly, and everything was delicious. The deviled eggs appetizer especially was phenomenal! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a great bite to eat in San Francisco!

We were headed to another restaurant when we passed this place and the food caught our eyes. The pizza we had was so good that halfway through eating it we ordered another! They cure their own pepperoni in house and boy does it taste good. Other tables had burgers that looked equally delicious. Service was fast and attentive. Street parking is nearby and the location is pretty serene.

The food was fast, delicious, and fresh. The atmosphere was warm and mellow, just perfect after a chilly ride to Alcatraz. Our server was top notch would highly recommend 5/5!

My fav meal so far in SF. Not touristy, chill atmosphere. Our waitress was great and attentive. The salads were fresh and tasty- and not overly coated with dressing.

Great restaurant with great food, fresh and well prepared. Staffing is friendly and helpful. Location and restrooms are clean and well maintained.
We will come again. Pricing is good.

Stopped in Friday late afternoon and had a salmon taco, Brussel sprouts & wonderful Purple Haze cocktail! Sat outside sitting in the sunshine! Wonderful food & cocktails! Apple crisp served warm with ice cream rounded out a very tasty SF experience! A must if new to city or for out of town guests!

Classic diner with a modern attitude. Great views of the piers and water front. Professional and friendly staff. Food was delicious, they specialize in wood fired pizza so don’t miss that while there. Drink list is extensive with many craft cocktails

Everything is made with care and high quality ingredients you can taste. I like the open kitchen so you can see your food being prepared. Excellent service and great chefs. Only complaint is the music outside is a bit to loud, thats coming more from a neighborhood perspective. But overall 10/10

Stopped in for a quick lunch. All of the food here is fantastic and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Prices are spendy but portion sizes are big.

Seen this place along the Embarcadero for years. It was used in the movie "So I Married an Axe Murderer". Finally tried it. Fantastic food! (Had the brisket and the pork chop). Very friendly server (thanks Brittney). Nice view of the bay. Nice atmosphere. Plan to come again.

(Seven months later.) Back in the city for some fun. Had to come back to Fog City. Wasn't disappointed. Food still great. Even had Brittney serve us again, and she did a great job (thanks Brittney!)

(Another three months) The pork chops are gone and so is Brittney. Bummer. But the baby back ribs were fantastic.

Really enjoyed dinning here. Elected to dine outside as it was a beautiful evening. Staff was attentive but not annoying. The food was fast, plentiful and flavor packed.
I had the cheeseburger and fries followed by key lime pie. The pie should be renamed to the mile high key lime pie imo. Both were very good. I walked it down with a lime Rickey.
For the size of the portions and the location I would say the offered good food at a decent price. Would visit again next time in San Fran.

We split the salmon sandwich and the truffle mac & cheese. Both were so yummy. I usually wouldn't eat onions and peppers on a sandwich but all the flavors together were amazing. The sandwich came with arugula salad which was a fresh and delicious addition. The service was really great too!

Fog City has earned its highly rated reviews. Great food, great service, and in a lively atmosphere. The kale salad is excellent.

A classic, nice restaurant food in an upscale diner atmosphere. We ordered sharing plates and desserts. Wines are moderately priced. Parking on street out front.

After a long flight, we stopped in for dinner on the way home. Great atmosphere. Food was good. My husband enjoyed his steak and roasted veggies. I had the sole on top of green beans. It was tasty with the wine we chose. I think the place itself adds to the experience. Staff was also friendly. Nice spot.

This place was delicious with great service. Forgot to take a picture of the Mac n cheese, it was great! Pasta still Al dente and plenty of bacon pieces throughout. I like the diner vibe and would recommend a booth for the optimal experience
