Urban Pet Hospital

I’ve been taking my dog here since I adopted her in 2019 and every time we go it is a good experience. The vets are always very helpful and kind and answer all my questions. I have a very anxious pup and everyone that works there is always so patient and sweet to her.
I’m sad we’re moving away and have to change vets but definitely would recommend Urban Pet Hospital to others for their pets :)

I have been taking my pups to urban pet for a few years now and they have seen both my pups as patients. The vets, vet techs, and front desk staff are all extremely friendly and warm, and you can tell they genuinely care about your pet. I want to especially shout out the front desk team because they are always quick to respond and help resolve any questions I have for them. Pets are part of your family and mean so much, so it's really comforting to know you're bringing your furry friend to a place that they will be well cared for. We love Dr. Fady. We've been to about three veterinarians in SF before finding Dr. Fady, but he is by far the most empathetic and kind dog whisperer! We go to him for our annual checkups for our two dogs as well as our allergy shots for our younger dog and TPLO surgery for our older dog. Before the surgery, he called us to check in on Mugi, and made sure that all of our questions were answered. And after the surgery, he called to check in on her to make sure she was doing well. We're so glad we found him and would definitely recommend!

Urban Pet Hospital got me in so quickly to help my dog, and the staff, nurses, and doctor were so so kind. You can tell they love animals here!!!! Everything was explained very clearly, and nothing felt rushed. Highly recommend for urgent care needs!

I called Urban Pet Hospital to inquire if they had emergency services and if my dog which had a uti, needed to be seen right away. They gave me the option to bring her in in the next thirty minutes as they had an appointment available which I appreciated them telling me as it spared me the emergency cost. They were nothing short of gentle, kind and personable with me and my husky! They provided great care and at a great cost. A huge thank you to all the staff as they made something that’s usually very stressful a walk in the park.

I’ve been taking my cat here for the past few years and the care is excellent. My cat is 17 and has diabetes and Dr Fady has taken such good care of him !

I brought my dog into this clinic last week and had a great experience with the staff and the dr. They saw my pet and me on time and explained the examination findings very thoroughly. My dog was in and out within an hour. I will definitely be returning in the future :)

Thank you Urban Pet Hospital! They were kind enough to squeeze our Lola in during the power outages in Marin, when our vet was closed. She was tested and treated gently and without delay. Her bronchitis is resolved and she is our happy Maltese again (and we are all sleeping better).

Urban Pet Hospital has been beyond wonderful. They let me bring in my dog an hour before they closed for the day after he broke his toe at the dog park. I’m not a regular here, but they let me come anyway. I told them I have very little money and they worked with me through the whole process and the cost came out well under what it could/should have for realignment, X-rays and a cast. Seriously good people who are looking out for both pets and their owners. Would recommend to anyone and not hesitate bringing my dog back here.

We have been going to Urban Pet Hospital for over a year now. We used to take our 13 year old boxer Sarge there until we had to put him down. During this time, Dr Garg and his team have treated us like family. When it was time to put Sarge down he shut down his office for us and came to our apartment. Although this was a very tough time for both my wife and I, Dr Garg and his team made it easier. Now we have our new puppy Smitty. Even though we've now moved out of the city, we still make the trip in to the Marina to see Dr Garg and team because we couldn't think of having anyone else care for our new pup.

Great place. Super nice staff price is fare compared to all the other vets. I went there yesterday with an emergency and they took care of my dog right away and he is doing some much better today. He had a bacteria and he was not eating anything and now he is happy and back to normal 😄

Very fair pricing knowledgeable and friendly helped get my little guy all vaccinated and put my worries to rest about a growth on his foot.

The care that we and our cat received at Urban Pet hospital was amazing. The staff is responsive and sympathetic, going to the vet is never easy but here it was made as easy as it can be. Dr.Fady in particular was caring and available, easily the best vet i have been to.

Absolutely the best for our dog Kodama. She is very safe and in very good hands. The staff are even excited to see her even though we show up for such random things! Our dog ate a bunch of chicken bones and they gave us solid advice and walked us through the situation (she's fine!). The doctors and the staff there are very tentative to what the dog or animal may need while still realizing that we as people needed reassurance.

When we first went there we were immediately accepted, a big difference from other pet hospitals in the area. 11/10 recommend.

Have taken my senior dog and now my new puppy to this vet. A couple of the vets here are outstanding while one or so may be lackluster. For the convenience and service, I’ve had no problems and will keep coming as long as I’m in the city! Some diagnosis’s for my senior dog weren’t perfect and they definitely aren’t a budget place but for the most part they’re pretty great and can see your pup on short notice which is also important!

I would recommend this vet! We had an awesome first visit with Dr. Adams. She really took her time to get to know me and my sensitive pup. It was also super easy to schedule. Thank you Dr. Adams!

Really, really wonderful team here. I've been to several of the top rated vets in SF and this team blows the rest out of the water.
1. They really care about the animals. I got follow up calls to check in on my cat days after her visit. When I had to leave her there overnight, the team knew her and her personality and has clearly spent time trying to keep her comfortable and happy.
2. They were always upfront about costs and willing to give me options. Every time they suggested a treatment, they gave me an estimate of costs before moving forward.
3. The doctors are very skilled and super smart. They were always willing to explain both the diagnosis and the treatment medically in a way that made sense.

Great team, highly recommend them.

I have only had positive experiences with Dr. Garg and his staff. I have had to put one cat down due to cancer and they were nothing but gracious and patient with us as we said goodbye, making sure she was comfortable and that we were aware of everything along the way. With my second cat, he was diagnosed with diabetes and Dr. G and his staff again, have been incredibly helpful as we navigate this new lifestyle. They are kind, thoughtful, patient, and I never feel as though I am being taken advantage of or that am being asked to run extra tests that may or may not be needed. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. They helped our dog who was having vomiting issues. They were helped him immediately, ran the appropriate tests after consulting with me and he came home with a treatment plan that is helping him heal.
