Cafe Venue Montgomery

Back in 2004, I was working at 333 Bush St. and this was our favorite salad lunch place. Now I'm on Battery St. and was happy to that this Cafe Venue location was still open. Too bad their Leidesdorff alley location is now closed. The salad chefs there were better and closer to me on Battery St. Today I had their breakfast burrito with sausage, + avocado & sour cream $1.50 = $10.95. O! such good memories! Tomorrow I'll come back for lunch and get my old favorites, the chop chop salad or the spinach one. Service was excellent was for a counter style restaurant.

Stopped here before a blood donation and had a great sandwich!! Very friendly staff and quick service. THANK YOU

What a fantastic place to get an excellent sandwich, salad, bowl, burrito or plate ala Chipotle style. Not pre-made, you can get the items you want fresh. The smoked pork loin is really good, and the bhakti Chai is seriously the best I've ever had. Walk on by Illy or the others with pre-made foods & a stuffy atmosphere.

Really great food! Really great vegans and vegetarian options! Very quick service. Sounds like they have plates to eat in but they didn't ask us so just make sure to tell them you're eating in if you are. They have lots of juices,smoothies, coffee, sandwiches, soup and great salads.

I was looking for a breakfast place after rushing out of my house and I passed by this place on my way to proper food (which was closed). I was ultra elated to find that they had chocolate chia seed pudding and a vegetarian friendly bagel sandwich! I will be recommending this place to friends!

A lovely breakfast/lunch spot with good vegetarian fare. Plenty of choices for all types of eaters (sandwiches, salads, drinks, etc.)

They are open for takeout during COVID, so please stop by to support a small business if you are in the area! They have a few tables/chairs outside on the sidewalk to sit on as well.

The employees are very nice. Got the veggie sandwich and loved it. Best thing about this place is the price! You can get a healthy, yummy lunch for under $10. Hard to find here in SF.

There are sandwich and soup restaurants, THEN, there is Cafe Venue!!. All of their locations are supervised by caring and dedicated managers. Personable service, clean, super fresh produce, fresh baked breads, a plethora of sides, vegan and vegetarian friendly. The atmosphere is warm and food is served expeditiously. Montgomery's Manager-Veronica, is always smiling and happy to see her repeat customers. Steve, the owner, has personally allowed me to come to his office to share my comments on his superior team of caring workers. You will not be disappointed at any of Cafe Venue's locations. Shout out to the 5th Street location....Gabby's team rocks!!!!

The vegetarian sandwich at Cafe Venue is excellent! The sandwich comes with a roasted red pepper sauce that really brings out the flavor.

I love this place. For being a downtown location it is very reasonably priced with multiple delicious options and the staff are amazing.

Best breakfast burrito. It’s also very quick and affordable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to grab a quick breakfast on the way to work or just whenever.

Love their breakfast burritos. Get it with chicken (I know, sounds weird but it’s not. Someone else talked me into it and I thought the same thing. You won’t be sorry), spicy sauce and sour cream.

Go-to breakfast spot when in the area. Not many places in the FiDi actually scramble eggs over a pan, so an easy plus there. Good breakfast burritos, and great staff.

Pretty darn good breakfast burrito and servers breakfast until 11am. What else can I say, even if the coffee is merely average? Oh, fast service, too.

Favorite breakfast to grab on the way to work. Fast service. Make sure you speak loud and clearly because the surrounding noise can drown out your voice.

Breakfast burrito with a green kale smoothie and coffee. All were excellent! We're visiting from NYC.
